He asked for a down payment of 5,000.00 on 6/7/13 which he received and cashed the check that same day. His crew showed on 5/28/13 carrying sledge hammers. At 60 days into the project he wasn't half way finished. We asked why. He said it was more work than he thought. We told him his crew wasn't working 50% of the time. That we and our neighbors, who will sign statements, observed his employees not working, taking very long breaks, relaxing on our patio furniture, phoning and sleeping. He took it lightly. We asked if he could complete the job by 8/15/13. He agreed and said it would be done. On 8/12/13 We called him stating he is no where near completion, what was his plan to finish 8/15? He said he needed more money to install the drop ceiling in order to finish. 8/19 we told him to leave. Now I have to hire another contractor willing to correct and finish the incomplete work. They cut up my stair risers, didn't dry wall as stated, I have no running water except the washing machine, no shower, no toilet and the wiring, inspected by an electrician, and framing, inspected by other contractors. wont pass code. Not a professional and very bad liar.Desired Settlement: Refund our money and cost to repair the sub standard work. The job is not complete and is not quality work, we now have to find someone to fix his errors and complete the project.
