Ridgefield Plumbing & Heating Reviews (3)

The owner of Ridgefield Plumbing & Heating, LLC has contacted MrVioni directly. We were originally called for service on 1/10/and at the time the shower valve was broken due to the freeze up which caused splitting of the valve. MrVioni was notified that the
replacement parts would take 5-weeks for delivery because the part needed was discontinued by the manufacturer and replacements were not readily in stock. MrVioni contacted our office on 1/26/and we returned his call the following morning by leaving a voicemail to let him know that the parts were still on order and again it would take several more weeks before we would receive them in order to make the necessary repairsWhen the employee he spoke of came out and looked at the damage he spoke of, there was no mention of a heater burning the floor and our employee and company was completely unaware of this. When speaking to MrVioni today, he considered that this may not have actually been caused by our company and could very well have been done by another person in the house. The letter he has written has not yet been received in our office. We have scheduled with MrVioni to go back out to his home tomorrow morning to speak with him again directly and address the issues he is concerned with. He has advised us that he will be taking care of the complaint made to the Revdex.com today due to the miscommunication that has occurred

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
Edward Vioni

Review: On 1/10/2014 I called Ridgefield Plumbing & Heating to repair frozen water pipes. They came out and fixed the frozen pipes BUT also broke the handle on my shower, left 2 faucets disassembled and tipped over a bathroom heater causing a burn mark on my bathroom floor. I cannot completely turn off the hot water in my shower because of the broken handle. Another employee came out and saw the damage. He did fix one of the faucets. Since then I have called them on 5 separate days and even written a letter and no one has gotten back to me.Desired Settlement: I would like my shower handle repaired and faucet reassembled. I would also like a partial refund of the $933.50 I paid to cover the burn mark on the bathroom floor.
