I am rejecting this response because: The reason we ended our contract with the vendor was because we were not happy with the work completed and the level of professionalism regarding the concrete work done to our driveway In addition to the concrete job, we paid him to install and vent out a bathroom fan which was said to have been completed As noted in the attached document, the work was not done properly It needs to be noted that the vendor [redacted] C would only refund money to us for the poor concrete job if we signed that document he mentioned, and we could not afford to lose more money on this jobI wanted nothing more to do with him after seeing the kind of work ethics he has, so we signed it on good faith that the other work was completed That is no way to run a business, relying on legal terms to get you off the hook for poorly done work

To Whom it May Concern: A release form was signed on June 18, stating that I release, give up and forever discharge any and all claims and rights which I may have against YouThis releases all claims, including those of which I am not aware and those not mentioned in this ReleaseThis Release
applies to claims resulting from anything which has happened up to nowI specifically release the following claims: The contract between the parties entered into on May 7, 2014, is hereby terminatedThe driveway located at ** *** *** *** *** cannot be completed because of concealed concrete under the existing asphalt drivewayAnd this Release further terminates and releases *** CConstruction and ***, individually from any and all obligations under the contract dated May 7, *** CConstruction takes all matters seriously and professionallyIt is unfortunate that all the information was not divulged to you concerning this matterI respectively submit my response to you in good faith that my status with the Revdex.com will not be affected by this matter since it was agreed upon by both parties to be terminated and satisfied completely and indefinitelyThank you, *** CConstruction ***

In response to this complaint nothing was ever mentioned prior to doing the job about wire mesh which is not required and is a preference. .only .but His wife did ask during the preparation stage if we were using it and I said no ....Also it was very odd that she was taking pictures and video and I...

asked her what are the pictures for she stated just incase we need a permit ... I said it was existing. ..she said the people around town said you do ..Also days later the complaintaint left a message conseading that he called the building inspector and he  said its not required and is a preference. ..I have tried to resolve this color issue with them I am not in control on how things dry like I explained to them .. Water is a key ingredient and it can affect the curing process which takes 28 days we are only at 23 day as I am writing this response ...impurities in mixing waterway not only affect setting time and concrete strength but also may cause efflorescence staining corrosion of reinforcement volume instability and reduced durability affecting the finish this can happen with well water with softeners  I am not really sure why it dried two different colors it looks to me it might of had a stain added to it after I left.. The pictures I took of the sidewalk look great which I will post to my portfolio.....I have tried to resolve this issues but anything I proposed was rejected ...thank you ..

Review: everything the contractor did was not done properly and not the final product we wanted or was advised we were getting. Since the work was done we had different contractors come for other reasons and each one said how poorly the job [redacted] did was done. One had to finish the work done by [redacted] because he didn't actually hook up he vent like he said he did.Desired Settlement: id like to be refunded for any of the costs associated with installing the bathroom vent since it wasn't ever hooked up like claimed.
