Review: I took my 2007 Harley Davidson in for repairs as it was having a starting problem. Rocky diagnosed it as a starter solenoid and a repair was done along with a 20,00 mile service. Picking up the bike I continued to have the same problem after paying him $400 for the repair specific to starting. I had the bike back to him 2 additional times having to take time of work and spending $30 each time to trailer the bike to him. He called and said it was a battery, so I paid for a new battery even though I had not battery problems. My bike continued to break down on me. He had my bike for a total of over 6 weeks and did not prioritize my bike among his other jobs. He finally stated that I needed a whole new starter and that that would cost about $900 installed. I parked my bike as I had no more moneies for repairs having given him about $1200 total.I borrowed money from my parents and trailered my bike to Redding Harley Davidson and said I was told I needed a starter. They called me an hour and a half after I dropped it off and stated there was nothing wrong with my starter, but that several teeth were broken off my ring gear which needed replacing. They stated that the problem was very obvious to them. My bike has started flawlessly every time since this repair was done. They had my bike for 2 days.

Rocky cost me a great deal of lost time from my job, 6 trips from Shasta Lake to South Redding, 25 miles each way wasted a lot of fuel.He should be reimbursing me for over $100 in wasted fuel. He performed the maintainance service on my bike satisfactory, and replaced a tire, but I feel all the money I paid him related to the starting problem should be reimbursed, about $400. If I had paid him the money for the starter I would have wasted another $900. I have the damaged ring gear as proof.
