Review: I am in the air condtioning buisness and the van being repaired was one of our service vehicles. Needless to say I'ts critical to our operation as we are in the middle of a heat wave.

We called Rodaks as they were refered by a friend of an employee. The shop was just down the road, so I thought we would give them a try. They said they would make us a priority due to the nature of our buisness and the ongoing heat wave. They towed our truck to their shop Monday morning.

After repeated calls and messages over the following days all I ever heard is that [redacted] is not in, that "he would not be back untill after 4:00pm", "he's working on it", or that "I'll give him the message". I never got any response.

We finally resorted to calling the person who refered us and were able to get minimal info through them, but no concrete answers on what was wrong and how long it would take to fix.

I finally spoke the [redacted] on Friday morning. He stated that the truck "should be ready today". When I inquired as to the cost, I got "I haven't figured that out yet" to which I said please call me when you have it so we can expedite this, and once again no phone call.

On saturday I reached someone only to find out that the cost was $689. for repairs to which I said I would like to speak to [redacted] as this seems excessive. Again I got "He wont be in unitll after 4:00 but I'll give him the message" and once again I never got a phone call.

So its now a week later on a Monday morning. I personally went to the shop to collect my vehicle, where I was presented a bill for $689.00 for a "jumper wire", Lube, Oil, filter, and towing. Furthermore the $60.00 lube, oil, and filter wasn't even authorized nor discussed.

After picking myself up off the floor, I asked to speak to [redacted] and once again, and I got the "he won't be in untill after 4:00" routine. I said this is unaceptable and insisted I speak with [redacted]. After a while they were finally able to get him on the phone but he didn't want to talk to me as he "was busy". Finally I spoke to [redacted] where he stated that "im not in a positition to negociate the bill" and refused to discuss it further and that If I wanted my truck back I needed to pay the bill in full. After paying the bill we went out back to see the truck only to find a huge paint chip missing from the edge of the hood. In addition to that it wasn't starting properly (the reason it was towed in the first place). We eventually got it started and left.

I now must take the truck to my regular mechanic to have the work inspected as I'm not confident that the truck is reliable. In addition I need to take it to a body shop to have the damage to the hood repaired.

I have never in my 17 years of buisness ever filed a complaint against anyone but this shop takes the cake. Furthermore I have never been treated in this manor in my life.Desired Settlement: Paymet of damages to the vehicle as It was just recently repaired and detailed at my body shop two months ago.

Review: upon requesting a towing services, the driver gave me a price of $200.81, which I did not have at the particular moment, once I came back to their office, the service person at the station stated that it was $ 271.24 and some change. I had questioned why the price went up? he stated that I took so long to come back and they were charging me one day of storege, which I was not aware of it any policies since they never gave me any written contract, however I was willing to pay them the amount of $271.24 but I did not have enought cash on me, so I offered them to swipe my debit card, which they have a sign of types of payment that they take, however one male employee told me that they dont take credit-card or bebit, he told me to go down the block and take money out of the atm machine located in the gas station. Which my husband went to do the transacion as I stayed behind waiting for him, while I was waiting for my husband, the secratary in the office received a phone call, and took a credit card payment over the phone. which I that point I felt uncomfortable. Why I was demanded to pay cash, plus they charge me $20.96 on tax, at the point I felt that I have not being treated fearly and equally.Desired Settlement: the diference of what they had told at the begining off the services. and also to f/up on the payment sign that is located in the front desk. thank you
