Rodeway Inn - Pacific Beach

Review: I booked a hotel room for my family for the weekend. When we got to the hotel, we found out we had been overbooked and transferred to a hotel in an area of town I'm not comfortable being in. I'm active duty military and the area they wanted us to stay is right outside of base. While it's not "off limts", it is highly recommended that we avoid it. They had no other accommodations for us for the weekend. It was a holiday weekend and ended up spending almost an extra $200 from my original booking to find a new hotel last minute. I tried to contact the manager by phone and couldn't get them. I got an email address, emailed them, and haven't received a response. It put us in a very desperate situation to try and find a place to stay at the last minute.Desired Settlement: I would like the extra $195 I had to spend to find an available hotel last minute. I don't know the next time I will be in the area so company credit won't satisfy me.
