Roger’s Electric Service was the subcontractor for a PV system installation.
The work was completed the 28th of August 2012. After prodding by the Solar company they supposedly closed the work permit the 28th of December 2012 for inspection. After the first inspection they never came back to correct discrepancies. Finally came back in June, failed again, came back and failed for one more discrepancy. Finally everything was corrected and passed inspection with the permit closed October 18, 2013, almost 14 months from installation. And this is a licensed contractor. The inspection failures should not have occurred.
The result was missing the State tax credit for 2012, refiled in 2013, result lost $3,000 in rebates due to tax law change.
Changing a light bulb could be beyond them.
