Review: Talk to [redacted] at Rollingwood with concerns of my membership, was told I could terminate membership, then she changed her mind.

On November 23rd 2012 I contacted the club about my membership. When I signed up I was told that using the pool during noon hours would not be an issue. But it became an issue with the swim team, swim instructor and swim classes. My membership was for swimming only. I had to move in with my mom in Davis, CA in late August, she needed help during the evenings, I would go to work and swim at lunch time then go to Davis, Ca after work. I call to terminate my membership, because they could not accommodate my afternoon swims with their schedule, and 2nd I moved more than 25 miles away (contract states it can be terminated if you move more than 25 miles away). I talked to [redacted] and she told me to send the last month payment in and the membership would be canceled. I sent the certified letter to cancel with the last months check. On the check I wrote last month's fee's, the check and letter sent Oct. 18th checked cashed Oct.24th than late Nov. [redacted] called and decided I needed to pay off the remaining contract. Per our agreement I said no, they turned it to collection called Titan Solutions. Titans sent a letter and stated if I disagreed of the charges to inform them in 30 days, I had called and told them of my disagreement, and they basically told me ' oh well to bad, we want the $280.00. Never heard from them again so I thought it was done. But then last week, almost a year later of never hearing back, I pulled my credit report and their it was. I want this removed asap, I don't owe the money, [redacted] told me to send the last month payment and I did, over a month later she decides to change her mind, the pool was inaccessible , plus I moved to Davis (over 25 miles away) in the contract its states that the contract can be stopped if a person moves over 25 miles away.Desired Settlement: I need this to be closed as my agreement with [redacted], and this taken off my credit report.
