Everything with this company was top-notch. The owner, Ed [redacted] , came out to do the estimate himself. He was very professional, courteous and efficient. He sent the estimate to me within 24 hours via email. I received a confirmation call the night before the move to let me know what time the movers and truck would be on site. The movers actually showed up early and were fantastic. They were extremely polite and grateful (we bought them breakfast and lunch, which was well deserved). It is absolutely amazing how careful, yet fast, these movers are. They get the job done in a very timely fashion while making sure your furniture and personal possessions are well taken care of. I would recommend Copher Movers any day of the week. Fantastic service all around!

We just had the worst moving experience with Copher Movers! We called them to ask about their cost and Chuck, the owner told us that it cost $per hour for guys and there is two hours minimumWe asked if there are any other charges like driving cost and he said absolutely not as they are just couple of miles away from the place where we were moving inguys arrived at 9.45am and they were done by 11.05am, and when it came to bill they said there is a hours minimum at $per hour and additional driving charge of $Which is pretty much double the quote we gotWe told the guys that there is some kind of misunderstanding and called Chuck who denied everythingCompanies like that should not be in business because he pretty much lied about the price to get our business and then overcharged usAs far as service, guys moving slowly, wasting time on their cell phones, carrying one piece of luggage at a timeAt some point I started helping them because I wanted the service for two hours which was supposed to be the minimumI put myself luggages on a cart and asked if one of the guys can take it and he looked at me as if I was crazyThey were definitely wasting time and I had to help because they would never finishAnyway, I just want you to be aware of the owner of this company lying about prices over the phone to get your serviceThe guys will arrive at you place and make you sign paper so that they can start working and then price will double! The owner will deny previously given price! If you must use them, request something in writing before they even start the job!

out of $2000 for a simple asphalt job. After seeing some of his work after this incident, I'm sure he wouldn't be capable of completing it with any level of quality anyways. He literally has 0 work ethic. He is a deplorable person with zero conscience. He promised day after day that he would complete the work after I paid him a 50% down payment. This went on for months. Then he waited until I was out of town to go to my house and threaten my wife, who was home alone with my 2 small children, that he needed the last $1000 payment asap or he would leave and she'd be left to pay the delivery company anyways and try to do the driveway by herself as there would just be a pile of asphalt left on our driveway. I was out of reach so she felt that she had to write the final cheque. She did and let him grab his tamper and other tools out of my garage that I had been holding as collateral. He then loaded up his tools, took off and cashed the cheque asap. The delivery truck never did show up (no surprise) and I later found out that the local plants won't sell to him anyways as he is well known for not paying his debts.

I do not accept this response because, as I explained before, the movers placed my appliances in front of each other, so it was impossible for me to see the damage until they were moved into the kitchen, or away from each other
Furthermore, I was watching my contractor move my appliances (no construction belts were used)Not only did I witness the smooth transition (it was only a few feet from where the movers placed the appliances), I also know that the contractor did not remove the handles from my appliancesThe only people who have ever removed the handles from the refrigerator and freezer were the the men from Copher moversThe scratches go on below the handlesIt is not possible the scratches to have gotten under the handles unless they were removedAlso, there was no damage/scratches on the appliance handlesIf there were, that would indicate that the contractor (who did not remove the handles) surely caused the damage; however that is not the case

Just wanted to thank you for the move. Your employees were kind, caring and courteous. they were great bunch of guys and did their job quickly and efficiently. The drive down to Farmer City could not have been easy with the wind on the highways. We really appreciated them and wanted to thank you again .

I would like to commend Copher Movers on the fine job they did. I sold my home but the closing was delayed 3 times, yet Copher was able to accommadate me all three times. And a sad note, my mother had passed that morning and they were aware and did they job quickly and quietly, which was a comfort to me. They were very careful moving the furniture and boxes as not to damage them or the walls. I am very pleased that I chose Copher Movers, which I am also storing my belongings until I can get into my other home.

Complaint[redacted]On May 17th/2016 I was sweeping off my driveway. I was approached by a man who said he has a ashphalt business. I asked what the cost would be and he said 2450.00. I told him I could not afford that. The next day he came to my home and said he had over priced the work and would reduce the cost to 1900.00. I decided to do it and he asked for $1000.00 cash deposit. I took him to by bank and gave him the money cash. He made me a small paper and wrote down some of the things that he would do. The repairs were to start the next day May 18th/2016. he showed up about 10 days later and did more damage to my driveway thatn repair. I am afraid to walk on it. He said he would be there the following day to finish paving the driveway and asked for an additional $500.00. He has not been there since. My son has made over 20 attempts to get in touch with this person and he is told time after time that his company would be there in a hour from the time of the phone call. He never shows up. his phone # of 639-571-2688 is no longer in service. [redacted]Desired SettlementMy son asked him for the money back [redacted]
