Roybal's Septic Service

I have an older property with a septic system that was inaccessible and required major repairs Roybal helped with permitting process to move the entire system to an area that is accessible This work was completed two years ago and I re-landscaped the new area per contractor recommendations at the time Everytime there is a major rain, my entire yard collapses over top the tank and leach field Roybal claims this is not his fault My landscaper, who keeps repairing, has proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt that the soil was not properly compacted Thus the rapid erosion, massive sinkholes and failure to supportRoybals response: "I told you not to put ANYTHING on top of either the tank or the leach field No grass, no gravel, no small plants, nothing." UnbelievableIt's two years later, and Roybal has washed his hands of this Poor business practice

First things first, I HATE writing negative reviews I also contacted Mike R*** to let him know I was dissatisfied so he could have a fair chance to make things right but he did not respond
Mike installed a septic tank in a home I had purchased in Scottsdale and was hired by the seller per the real estate contract He applied for a permit which took forever but that wasn't his fault The tank was installed about months after the initial consultation and Mike was paid up front for the work He mentioned several times that the leech field had to be replaced without even digging it up to look, he REALLY wanted an additional $to replace the leech field which turned out to not be necessary once we dug everything up and actually looked at it
The main reason for writing this was toward the end of the job when he knew he wasn't getting the additional $4k he kind of checked out He cut several irrigation pvc lines to access the tank which in his defense was totally necessary We had discussed him obviously replacing them when the job was complete which he agreed to on a few different occasions On the day he "finished" and packed up, the backyard was a disaster, broken pvc pipe was strewn all over the place and the hole was filled back in very half-*** He mentioned then via a phone call that he had capped off the lines and not replaced them, I now have to hire a landscaper to dig it back up and finish the job on my dime
The next morning I woke up to a flooded backyard, he had driven the backhoe over different sprinkler heads and broke them off These heads stuck out of the ground by about 6" so there was no way he could have missed them I texted Mike that morning to inform him of this and allow him to make things right, he did not return my texts During the entire job he mentioned about times "I can't take responsibility" for pretty much everything And he sure didn't Mike needs a crash course in business
