Runde Pre Driven Vehicles

Company states that they have tried to resolve this issue with the consumer and this is their final response in regards to the complaint.

Review: I contacted this dealership about purchasing a truck from them I was told the truck was in good shape so I put a hold deposit until I could make the arrangements to purchase the truck. Then I drove 350 mile and the truck was not in the condition I was told so I decided against purchasing it. I was told when I was leaving the dealership that my deposit would be returned . After two weeks of unanswered phone call the salesperson called me and informed me that the management thought that I owed them the deposit and I wouldn't be getting it back!Desired Settlement: I believe that my deposit should be returned!

Our business office has contacted [redacted] and we have since returned the $200 deposit.

Please go elsewhere if you want good customer service after you purchase a vehicle. I have never had a worse experience in getting a dealership to take care of an issue that was identified prior to purchase. This is what happened.

I drove two hours to purchase a vehicle from Runde. I purchased a 2011 Chevy Colorado from the pre-driven lot. When I test drove the car there was major condensation in the front passenger headlight. I was not going to proceed with the purchase, but the salesman said it would go away, and even new cars do that. When I asked what if it doesn’t, he said he would take care of it. In addition, when I test drove the truck it had less then 1/8th of tank of gas. I was taken back when I actually had to ask for some gas, since I was spending that much money. When I asked for gas, I was filled to less than half a tank an not even enough to get me the 2 hrs home. This vehicle was supposed to have gone through inspection, but when I got home I noticed the brake fluid was low and windshield wiper fluid bone dry.

I hassled for two weeks on trying to get the dealership to send the parts to a local dealership so it was convenient for me to stop by and have them headlights installed. I even discussed with the owner and still would not do it. What they did is send a driver down to pick up my vehicle. I didnt want this because who knows how it was treated and didnt want the extra miles added. I also felt they would stick me with gas as it was an issue when I purchased. Since this was my only option I had to do it. And guess what happened!!! They returned the vehicle on empty. Not even enough to get me out of town.. $45 worth of my gas to fix their issue!!!

So I email all 5 owners letting them know that it was pretty poor business tactics to not return my truck with the same amount of gas they picked it up with. Do you think at least one of the owners would at least respond to my email. I figured it may have been an oversite and they would send me a $50 visa card or something to make up for it. NOPE not one of them even responded to my email.

I normally would not take the time to tell of this experience. But I feel strongly that spending thousands of dollars you should be treated like a custumer you would want back. Most dealerships charge about the same for similar vehicles. Might as well go to a dealership that will treate you well even after you sign the papers.
