Consumer sent the following update:I ended up talking to Eric in the accounts receivables at there corporate officeWe talked for quite awhile about my situation and we came to a resolutionWe agreed to $reduction in the amount owed bringing the total down to from I had tried to get a hold of a corporate number but was never able toAll this could have been avoided if I would have talked to them in the first placeThank You, [redacted]

At no time did this office inform the customer of removing the front or back door and installing them all over We were to remove the exterior trim and show the homeowner that the rough opening was properly insulated then install the new storm door The front door interior trim was to be painted by one of our vendorsThis was not to be done at the same time as the storm door installationWe have made good faith to respond to the customers complaint and have taken actionAt this point I have deferred this file to Andersen Corporate for further review

Renewal by Andersen of Cleveland has been actively responding to the *** Family in regards to ice/moisture forming on their exterior aluminum framed Provia Brand Storm Door installed in December 2017. We have responded to every call appropriately and made numerous visits in regards
to their concerns. Based off our tech's inspection on 1/14/18, a new insulated storm door has been ordered. Unfortunately, an aluminum storm door does not have the ability to be connected to a heat source as it sits on the exterior of the main door slab. Storm doors are exposed to the elements year round. In this situation it appears the interior door is opened which allows the moist interior air bond to the cold source being the exposed aluminum storm door. The recommended average interior humidity level is based off the time of the year. This particular home tested at 52% Humidity. Renewal by Andersen of Cleveland has returned every call during business hours, and has made every effort to meet the customers demands. Once the new storm door arrives, we will schedule the customer and promptly install it

This is a Virginia Client which has nothing to do with Ohio as we are all independent to each territory.

At no time did this office inform the customer of removing the front or back door and installing them all over.  We were to remove the exterior trim and show the homeowner that the rough opening was properly insulated then install the new storm door.  The front door interior trim was to be painted by one of our vendors.. This was not to be done at the same time as the storm door installation. We have made good faith to respond to the customers complaint and have taken action. At this point I have deferred this file to Andersen Corporate for further review.
