We agreed to refund the remaining balance minus work already performedUnfortunately, the customer will not accept that, but that is all we are willing to doWe put a lot of work into his project and I canceled it based on the harrasment of my employee'sI believe refunding him his balance is fair ***

Signdealz was contacted by *** *** on June 5, to construct site signs for their projectSigndealz produced detail drawings based on the customer requestThese drawings were approved by the client on 6/8/and then request for engineering of the support structure were made on
6/8/Engineering takes to days to completeWe provided the engineering details to the client on 6/18/and produced another set of drawings for the client for final approvalThe client then requested that we resubmit a bid for the larger supports called out in the engineeringThis requires us to estimate the entire project in it's entiretyI instructed the client on 6/and 6/the cost of the project would go up approximately $4500, and didn't get a response from *** regarding these issuesOn 6/I received an email from *** with *** *** that they would still like to move forward with the larger support system optionI explained that I believed they could get the same result in supporting the signs by using a X system with kickers for additional support with only a small increase in price*** agreed and I provided another revision for the client and I was supplied the final proposed locations for the signs on 6/28/I provided a revised design on 6/29/to the client, design revision RWe had formal approval on the revised designs on 7/6/from the clientOur clock started on production of the sign once we have formal approvals and signed drawingsThe client had an unrealistic time frame and consistently made changes throughout the process, which ultimately affect the project timelineI made it clear to *** and his team that we need everything approved before we start fabricationI did misinform *** in regards to parts of the fabrication being complete and did apologize for thatIt was a miscommunication with my vendorOnce we started the process of calling in the locations and getting the project moving forward, members of ***'s staff were rude to my team and our subcontractors, so we decided it was best to cancel the project as of 7/12/17, days after the formal approvalWe are reconciling their account and will refund in full the amount of their deposit, minus the engineering and design fee's uncuredI cannot and will not tolerate any harassment of my staff or members of our subcontractors in the workplace

We informed the client we are required to pay for the permit. So we cannot issue a refund in regards to that charge. We will provided a receipt and copy of the permit once processed. We are going to refund the client the remaining balance for the proposed engineering charge as we said we would...
