Dear Mr***First let me express my sincerest apologies for this
abexperience with our company. This is definitely not how we would have liked this situation to be
handled and we are correcting our proceduresAs far as your claim is concerned, we do not consider the
matter
closed. We are still currently
investigating all circumstances. Please
understand that we service approximately customers per year and have never
had a single incident such as this happen before. This unique scenario has raised many
questions for us and our insurance company as well as our tape supplier and
manufacturer. I am personally involved in the inquiry to this matter. It is my understanding that you had informed
multiple employees of ours that you were the first and sole owner of this
vehicle and when asked if it had previously been wrecked you responded with a “No”. After reviewing the public record we have
found that there have actually been multiple owners. I was also informed by the technician who
performed the service on your vehicle that there was evidence of a post-factory
paint job that had been done on the area as well as evidence of a previous,
improper rear-glass replacement. As I hope you can understand, we are looking into all
aspects and possibilities of cause due to the nature of your claim. I request that until we have reached a conclusion into this
matter, you direct all contact with our company to me directly. I can be reached a* *** *** ***Respectfully,Chad A***PresidentDealer Auto Glass AZ, LLCTell us why here

Please allow me to apologize forthe less than par experience you received from my company after having yourwindshield replaced. After looking intothe matter more deeply I have discovered that there
were a few factorscontributing to your experience. I willnot go into all of them but please allow me to explain the timeline of eventsso that you may understand that we attempted to honor what we said and that thisis not a experience with our companyThe claim was filed on 8/11/15however we did not install the windshield until 8/17/Two weeks later, on9/2/15, check number was issued to the policy holder named Daniel Vukovicfor the amount of $100. You called ourcompany on 9/7/looking for the check. That same day a couple hours after you called, our mail was deliveredand the check that was issued was returned non-deliverable for no apartmentnumber. The next day on 9/8/I spokewith you personally to correct the address and assured you a new check would goout and check number *** did. On9/14/you again called into our company. I looked into the matter and found that check #*** had not been cashednor had it been returned to us It wasproperly addressed. On 9/15/you called me directlyand left a voicemail. Unfortunately Iwas unavailable from 9/13/through 9/16/for a family funeral. Upon returning to work on 9/17/I ordered a3rd check (#***) to be issued and astop payment to be issued on #*** I am not at all claiming thatthis was your intent but please understand that there have been a few instancesof individuals attempting to defraud us with regard to rebates. There was already a delay for the lack ofapartment number on the first check. When we send out multiple checks for the same rebate and the name of theperson calling does not match the insured in our system it does raise redflagsLooking into the matter deeper,as of the date of this letter Check number *** has still not been returned toour office. I have found that the latestcheck was not only received but cashed as well. I believe that we can now consider thismatter closed. I hope you can see that we havedone all that we could to honor what we have told you we would do regarding thetime it takes to receive a rebate. Onceagain please let me offer my sincerest apologies for your experience. Sincerely,*** ***

I have researched this and found that this has been handled.  I am attaching a copy of the cashed check by the customer that was dated July 18th.  I have personally spoken to Mr. [redacted] and he has acknowledged that he did receive the check for $100.  He also stated that he attempted...

to log in and withdraw the complaint but was unable to find a way do so.  We process hundreds of rebates per month and unfortunately Mr. [redacted] was a victim of our accounting system upgrades.  To be clear his original rebate amount was for $50 and due to the inconvenience we increased it to $100 prior to the complaint being filed. We have apologized again for our mishandling of this particular customer and he has expressed his thanks and understanding. I do hope this resolves this issue.  Sincerely,Chad [redacted]
