We spoke with *** and ultimately figured out why she said this information was reported on her background check. We are simply a third party background check company that gets criminal information from County court houses and then gives it to our clients. In this case *** told us that she never committed the crimes that were listed on her background check which is why she filed the complaint with the Revdex.com. On the report there is a first name match, a middle name match, a date of birth match and an address match. We were able to determine that the crime was listed under her correct name, but she was understandably very frustrated because she said she never committed the crime. After we spoke with her and she saw exactly what the crime was she recalled that it was on there because she caught someone shoplifting from a store she worked at and the crime was listed under her by mistake. I explained to her that she needs to reach out to Cook county Illinois to have them remove the crime or fix the mistake. Due to the fact that we are the third party the county will not talk with us or give us any of the information pertaining to the case. Once she reaches out to the County and gets the crimes removed the county will give us the updated information and then we remove it on or end. We unfortunately have no control over the information they give us nor can we tell them what to change, we are simply a third party that gives the information back to our client that we receive from the county. We explained to *** that the issue here is with Cook County and really has nothing to do with us. We are going to help her in any way possible to get this information corrected with Cook county. We pride ourselves on our good practices and our excellent reviews. We hope that this issue can be closed out and we can all move forward. Please let us know if there is anything else that we need to do on our end to get this matter resolved.

Ok, I have been in contact with *** and we have come to a resolution here. She has the actual court documents and has a better idea of what she needs to do. She has agreed to close out the complaint and go to work on her end.
