As is evident in the photos Mrs [redacted] kindly provided, the photo of the Digby sofa she purchased from us is in fact same exact Flexsteel sofa that Living Spaces has on their website renamed “ Gatsby”The third sofa photo, the [redacted] is a similar sofa but there are distinct differences such as the arm is a “roll” arm and the general sizing is different Because they are similar we believe Mrs [redacted] confused the three sofas and this is understandable considering the style similaritiesUnfortunately our employee that assisted Mrs [redacted] with her selection, who could validate this is no longer with usPlease note however, in the years of [redacted] ’s employment with us have we had this kind of misunderstandingWe believe there is no way she would have misrepresented a saleTherefore we must maintain our contractual agreement with Mrs [redacted] is valid We greatly appreciate you mediating with Mrs [redacted] on our behalf Thank you once again Kindest Regards, [redacted]

Per your request, this email is sent directly to you. You received the picture document, but I did not know how to send my individual response. It is written below:
I do not agree with the "B.S." that the sofa company is claiming , espin their last paragraphI had sent, via web site, a page document showing the TWO pictures that I brought into the store and showed ***, the sales rep at that very first meeting. She took the papers to the back room and checked her computer and then came out and gave me a paper (3rd picture) INSISTING then and every day since then, that her Digby sofa is EXACTLY like the *** and *** pictures that I wanted. She said that based on the fact that my new chairs had square arms, the sofa should be square arms as well. The *** sofa has square arms and that is what I then told her. She said it is EXACTLY the same as the Digby sofa (her picture handed to me)! It is not the same, and was verified as being a totally different sofa by the corporate office of Flexsteel (when I contacted the corporate office after *** and the store refused to correct the order). ***, was the ONLY sales person that we talked with, and is also the "store manager" for "over years", as is printed on her business card given to me. She SHOULD HAVE KNOWN per Flexsteel corporate office. This is representation to the max!
If the store continues to deny these facts, then I would appreciate it if you would then go directly to the Flexsteel Corporation to back up their products by correcting their franchises errors, by their Flexsteel guarantees and standardsI wrote this in my original complaint, but since I have so many papers and documents, I did not, at that time, include these pictures as you now have. I thought writing about it would be sufficient, but maybe this fact was overlooked with so much other detail. I hope this clears up the statements made by the sofa companyI do not believe that Discover, a highly recognized and respected company, should allow any of it's users to benefit from advertising and misleading consumers. You will also find similar remarks on social web sites such as Yelp....same as my circumstance....to show this company is one not to be dealt with.

I have a complaint in the process from 10-22-15.  The last email that I received from Revdex.com was that the...

company did not yet respond and a 2nd initiation had been sent to them.  No answer as of today.  
I would like to change my requested resolution from: full reimbursement of sofa and material, (for the wrong sofa that their employee insisted on putting on the order form),  to: remake the sofa using the same material in the style "Gatsby" (as was originally requested for square arm shape) or "[redacted]" (sofa with round arms), as both have the flat seats that I had requested.
I hope this further option speeds up their response, since they have purposely tried everything they could do, to delay any type of communication or resolution for many months.  By offering my original resolution options, I hope this speeds their acceptance and it can be done immediately!
Please let me know if this can be changed. 
(I had originally requested the sofa be remade, but the owners rejected that proposal and told me to "take them to court and sue us".  So, I wrote on my Revdex.com complaint, that I wanted resolution to fully reimburse me for the sofa and extra material yardage, because I was going to have another company remake it for me.  Now that it has been delayed for so many more months, the material is running out at the other company and they may not be able to remake it for me.  So, I am now asking for my original Revdex.com requested resolution for them to remake it but with the flat seats that I had  originally requested....the sofa with the square arms is called "Gatsby".  The round arms of the same sofa is called "[redacted]".)

Because they are similar we believe Mrs. [redacted] confused the three sofas and this is understandable considering the style similarities. Unfortunately our employee that assisted Mrs. [redacted] with her selection,
who could validate this is no longer with us. Please note however, in the 16 years of [redacted]’s employment with us have we had this kind of misunderstanding. We believe there is no way she would have misrepresented a sale.
Therefore we must maintain our contractual agreement with Mrs. [redacted] is valid.
 
We greatly appreciate you mediating with Mrs. [redacted] on our behalf.
