We contacted *** ***'s son who is the owner of the vehicle He was in Nevada at the time of the accident and still currently is Apparently there was a mixup between *** *** and his son as to what to do with the car The car suffered extensive damage from the accident and is
by no means drivable and is actually a total loss*** *** removed all his personal belongings on 6-23- The next day we gave *** *** a discount on the total bill and he signed the title over to us for vehicle disposal which happens often on an older totaled vehicle as in this case However, in talking to *** *** who is the actual owner of the vehicle, we understand his father signed over the title by mistake Yes, there was some confusion on *** ***'s part as to what lot the vehicle was at AFTER he signed over the title (Salvage cars are moved to a different location) But in no way did he inform us that he made a mistake in signing the title over to us Since we have not salvaged the vehicle yet we will allow *** *** to have the vehicle back and we will only charge him a few days of storage which is a incredible discount on our part since we have stored the vehicle for days We will also of course give him the original title back We ask only that he retrieve the vehicle before 7-20- His son said that it should be no problem As far as any other misunderstandings, we have been family owned since and we take our complaints regarding customer service very seriously After talking to all personnel involved and reviewing paperwork and video it is clear that no one lied, mislead, or treated *** *** in a rude manner There was somewhat of a language barrier but in fact our employees were doing their best to help him The fact that the actual owner was out of town complicated the issue but we worked with him via email to solve that issue I regret that *** *** feels he did not have a good experience during that transaction but hopefully he will be more than satisfied that we have worked to solve this issue for everyone involved Thank you.Woodrow *H*** III (Vice President) Willow Spring Towing & Recovery, Inc
