Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/06/01) */
Good Morning:
We have received your complaint. Staatsamacht Kennel has attached a copy of the contract signed by Mr. [redacted] that clearly outlines our policy and procedures regarding how we handle the deposits of puppy. From time to time...

we do not have the puppy available when the customer would like it and therefore they do have to wait an additional few months, and the contract clearly states this information. Unfortunately, breeding of animals depends largly on nature and we do everything we can to make this as smooth as possible for the customer. We have been in business over 20 years and never had a single complaint to the Revdex.com. In addition, Mr. [redacted] has made it very clear on public dog forums that he will do whatever he needs to do to get his deposit back including emailing us everyday with questions that we have responded to several times. He has stated on blogs that he will just be a pain in the rear until he gets his money back. Unfortunately, we can not change our business policies for one person and then not change it for everyone. We are honest to all of our customers even if they are difficult and will not change our position on this matter. We apologize if this upsets Mr. [redacted] and we will do whatever we can to make this a pleasurable experience for him and all of our customers.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/06/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The business has resorted to stating falsehoods in order to cover up their actions. First off, they are exactly right about the contract: I did sign a contract for a non refundable deposit of $500. I did this under the assumption that such experience and knowledgeable breeders couldn't possibly not deliver ANY puppies from the FOUR litters they told me were going to be due in close succession starting in late Spring. Furthermore, I entered into this contract with the hope that the breeders, with whom I had many email conversations without issue BEFORE my deposit was paid would be equally responsive once they had received my funds. Much to my dismay, once I sent my application and deposit, I went long periods without getting a response, even when puppies were supposed to be due. When I did get a response it implied they were too busy with other duties to respond to my email. Finally, I beg to differ with the assertion that my emails have been sent with the purpose of being a pest or bother. I have sent emails because frankly, Stefan does not have very good English and I cannot understand him very well. In addition, I wanted a written record of the conversations and answers I received so we would all be able to point to the record without disputing recollections. I have all the emails from the past two months and would be happy to share them for an independent review. Furthermore, I have still not received an update as to when the next breeding is expected and where I stand on a waitlist that must be full of other customers from the other 4 breedings that were planned.
As to tactics, if anyone is using questionable tactics in this situation it would be the breeder who upon seeing my displeasure voiced in online dog forums made a very thinly veiled reference or threat of suing me for defamation. This was the case although the breeder was not named in the posts. I was so concerned with the seriousness of this threat that I sought out legal counsel at [redacted] in Wausau, WI where I have asked attorneys to review my case for further action. I would vastly prefer to settle this without taking any steps that would be costly to both me and the business but am determined to do so if we cannot come to a reasonable agreement in this forum.

10/5/2017 To whom it may concern: RE:  [redacted]   We have received the Revdex.com complaint of Ms. [redacted] and have had a chance to review her claims.  Staatsmacht Kennel has been conducting business with the AKC since 2010, have an outstanding record with the AKC, and AKC...

inspections.  We have yet to receive a complaint of this type or any agent’s complaint regarding how they treated a customer.  Ms. [redacted] has an outstanding balance with our kennel that we allowed her to keep open and advised Ms. [redacted] several times that upon receipt of her payment we will in fact release her paperwork.  As of this date we have not received the funds.  The litter is properly registered with the AKC, and all other clients from this litter have received their paperwork.  We are happy to provide her the registration as soon as she brings her account to a zero balance.   Ms. [redacted] claims in how she states she was treated was completely false.  In fact Ms. [redacted] called Ms. [redacted] over and over and harassed her on social media.  In addition, she used others like Ms. [redacted] to harass Ms. [redacted] on social media to the extent Ms. [redacted] removed her social media account.  Ms. [redacted] never swore, and actually told Ms. [redacted] that she was not willing to take her harassment and would sort this out in the proper channel.   Again, Staatsmacht Kennel is happy to release her papers once Ms. [redacted] provides the $300.00 owed to the kennel.    Please advise if she is willing to do so, and we will make overnight arrangements to send her paperwork.  We trust our customers and unfortunately Ms. [redacted] intentionally deceived the business that she would pay the balance remaining.   Thank you for your time,   Stefan [redacted] Staatsmacht Kennel Owner ###-###-####

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/16) */
While we are sorry Ms. [redacted] is not happy, Staatsmacht Kennel denies the claims made by Ms. [redacted].
Ms. [redacted]'s use of defamation and false statements regarding the personal character of our employees or facilities is without merit,...

and the facts are outlined below.
Ms. [redacted] has used our training facilities for several of her dogs and not just the puppy she purchased from Staatsmacht Kennel, and had always claimed that she was very satisfied. In fact, due to her satisfaction of Mr. [redacted]'s training is why she decided to purchase a puppy from Staatsmacht Kennel.
1. [redacted] was purchased at 8 weeks old, with a purchase agreement that outlines the terms of the purchase.
i. Section Indemnification outlined in the contract clearly states that the purchaser agreed to indemnify Staatsmacht Kennel related to or arising out of training, or any other behavior of the Puppy and Staatsmacht services pursuant to this agreement (see attached contract)
1. This section is important due to Ms. [redacted] sending Staatsmacht Kennel video's of [redacted] doing bite work with Ms. [redacted], who is not trained to perform such tasks. Ms. [redacted] can be seen using a sleeve on her own arm and having the dog attack her arm. Staatsmacht Kennel would not condone this behavior. Thus it is unclear as to why Ms. [redacted] can blame our facility for the aggressive actions of her dog due to her misuse of a very methodical skill such as bite work with her dog. It becomes very unclear as to why Ms. [redacted] would try and perform such tasks and is one example as to why, and if her dog is aggressive that can be as a result of anything related to Staatsmacht Kennel or Stefan [redacted]. In addition, it was witnessed that when Ms. [redacted] picked up [redacted] she was encouraging her dogs to fight, which Mr. [redacted] in a text message told her was not appropriate for her dog.
2. Staatsmacht Kennel stands behind the contract. This certainly includes the hips of[redacted], as it would any puppy from our breeding's. The contract clearly states our policy and is signed by the purchaser. Ms. [redacted] has not followed the policy and procedure of the contract(see attached sample puppy contract). Ms. [redacted] has not sent any pictures to Staatsmacht Kennel as requested and outlined in her contract. Both parents in the breeding have passing hips, in fact great hips and elbows, and have produced many dogs without any sign of hip irregularities. As a breeder all you can do is take healthiest animals and hope everything works out. However, in the case that it does not, there are clear procedures to follow and Staatsmacht Kennel will follow them, as soon as Ms. [redacted] would provide the evidence needed to do so. Ms. [redacted] states that she has never seen a contract however as you can see from the screen shot of the email to her on Jan. 8, 2014 that Ms. [redacted] is not being accurate.
3. Staatsmacht Kennel has several text messages from Ms. [redacted] that can be provided that state how happy she was with the training and that her dogs were getting along well with one another after the training at our facility. Each time she would come there would be several sessions to show Ms. [redacted] how to handle the dog or any problem solving that the needed to done. Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] was well aware of the use of e-collar. In fact, Ms. [redacted] purchased an e-collar for her own use.
4. Ms. [redacted]'s main source of contention was that Mr. [redacted] refused to conduct illegal and unethical behaviors on Ms. [redacted]'s behalf. Ms. [redacted] wanted Mr. [redacted] to come and stay with her and perform a week long training in Texas in August of 2015. Attached the airline tickets Ms. [redacted] books as evidence of this. Ms. [redacted] failed to book a spot for her dog,[redacted], who had been training at Staatsmacht Kennel. Ms. [redacted] then wanted Mr. [redacted] to lie to the airline and Homeland Security and say that the dog is a service dog, which Mr. [redacted] refused to do. Ms. [redacted] was very upset that Mr. [redacted] would not do so. Ms. [redacted] refused to put the dog in the cargo area of the plane and therefore Mr. [redacted] could not fly with the dog to Ms. [redacted] and she drove up and completed the handling session in Minnesota.
5. When Ms. [redacted] arrived training was completed and training was shown to Ms. [redacted] on two different odors, and the the dog was wearing the e-collar as it was explained to her previously. Several people witnessed the training and the ability of the dog to search such scents. However, Ms. [redacted] may not have been able to replicate the training on her own or conducted it improperly. We can not guarantee what owners do with dogs when they leave the facility.
Several items are attached as evidence
