Review: I paid a utility bill of $22.93. Later, the company returned and said that they never billed me that month and then charged $22.93 again and labeled it as "balance forward." I have made multiple attempts to contact them, but their only response was to come to their office during business hours, which are while I am at working or commuting home. On April 4, 2016 (bill received April 25, 2016), they assessed an $80 late charge, which was added to the "balance forward" section.Desired Settlement: Late charge should not be assessed and the original balance forward charge should be reversed.

Regards,

I'm having a hard time getting things fixed (electrical) my apartment & my family is at risk of mold/mildew in the apartment and no one is concerned. In March or April 2015, I made a complaint about electrical problems in my apartment, that my walls smelled like they were burning and the maintenance men told me not to run my appliances on high and did not send an electrician out to check my sockets or fuse Box. May 2015, my sockets started to pop and burn, because of a faulty fuse box and the fire department was called again, but maintenance said they would not replaced it and he just patched it up. July 3,2015, we were awakened by smoke and a burning smell and called the fire department, nothing was done about that issue either. July 7, 2015, I went to the office and ask if someone would come to my apartment, because suspicion of mold/mildew. They maintenance men came and stated it was only dirt from the filter. They changed the filter and I asked if they have a mold test kit to test it and he said no, so I told him I have one and I will test it and send it to the lab. I'm still waiting on my door to be sealed from December 2014. Whenever we asked for new things for the apartment, it gets looked over and I feel like I don't exist and me and my family are in danger staying in this apartment complex. Desired SettlementI just want to live comfortable and have the furnace, stove, refrigerator, cabinets, new paint, carpet, tub and an electrician to come out to get this apartment safe. If it is mold in the apartment, I feel we should be reimbursed for what we had to live through for nine months.Business Response This is response is in regards to complaint at [redacted]We have been very accommodating to this tenant. This address is not the 1st address she moved into. With in 1 week after her move in she requested another apartment to be moved to due to she did not get along with another tenant in the building. We accommodated her on this and the first apartment had damages within 1 week. We overlooked this for this tenant. She gave false information on her application of who all would be living in the unit and had move in a gentleman. When we addressed this situation we did allow her to add him as living there but not a lease holder.I have pulled all work orders she reported to the office and every order was worked and signed off on. We even pulled the bills from the electrician we paid to correct any breaker box problems. We have done all we are supposed to do for this tenant. If there are any other questions regarding this matter please feel free to give our office a call and we will address any other questions.Thank you,[redacted]ManagerConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I don't accept the response because for once she knew about my husband, not just any gentleman I was letting move in. She listed him as a occupants and when I realized the mistake, she said he couldn't be on the lease a a leasee Because she had already completed the lease after I told her I was married and paid the apolication/background fee for him to be on the lease. The reason I ask to move from the first apt was because someone was trying to break in my apt and I thought it was the neighbors drink upstairs because they broke into my apt at another complex. She then stated that the apt was empty for a long period of time and a homeless guy and woman would try to sleep in the apt, I also have a police statement that explained what happened. I waited on numerous things to very fixed in that apt and they failed to fix it, my apt was smoking on two occasions from the sockets and I have fire reports in that also. She was hearsay ever in the office and was always out if town and left her husband, which is always under the influence of alcohol and the maintenance guy which I seen break into an apt above me and sold the tenant's belongings to a nearby theft store. On several occasions the maintenance guy was in my apt without a work order and also tried to kick my door in and I called the office and told her about it and she did nothing. The fire chief came out several times and inspected the apt and said it's a lot of things wrong and me and my family needed to move ASAP before we become hurt in that apt..I have since moved out because of the negligence.I did a walk through with her and she stated she refuse to give my deposit back because she needed to paint the apt over, which she would have to do after a tenant move out. Everything she is saying is a lie and I asked her time take me time court and she said "No" it was no need to because she didn't evict me.I have pictures of all she us accusing me of and will submit the photos and reports. Final Business Response Ms. [redacted] rental history is the same story at the prior complex she was renting from. We have the documentation she gave consent to obtain. She also listed Mr. [redacted] as a lease holder at the time of filing the application but took him off and before the application was processed. She still moved him in. Weeks later some altercation happened between the two and she stated she put him out and he would no longer be there. I don't know of any apartment complex that returns a deposit with the state of the apartment in which she left ours in. We have obtained pictures also and the apartment was painted clean and all appliance were in working order when she took possession. Addressing the calls to the fire department, the day after her first call to them the head fireman came to the office and notified me she made the call. His statement to me was she had to much plugged in and informed her also of this fact. Her second call the fire department found nothing in her apartment to warrant them to come out. She even stated to me they pulled out a meter and check behind the walls and found nothing. She stated she had a report and I asked for a copy but she did not provide any. I will not address any accusations against the maintenance as this is ludicrous of her to make these statements.
