Complaint Response to ID ***As mentioned before we are sorry if the customer is having problems with the transmissionWe have yetto be told what the actual problem isThe customer is claiming it is due to overfilling transmissionWe have never stated that it was not overfilledWe are stating that our invoice lists quarts because that isfor flushing out the system and accounts for inventory usedIf by chance vehicle was overfilled (and wehave a check and balance by showing all customers dipsticks after service to show the vehicle is back atoperating level both oil changes and transmission changes) there is a breather that allows excess fluidto bleed outA reputable transmission company in Milwaukee area talked to the transmission companyin Colorado and both said they do not feel overfilling would cause a problemWe were told that thetransmission business in Colorado does not see any leaking or any bulging of seals that overfillingmay causeThey would do diagnostic test on transmission but there is a cost to thisWe have offeredcustomer to have this done at his cost and if a problem is found that we were involved with then we would take on the damage and the problemIf found the transmission problem is not due tooverfilling we would not be responsible for anythingCustomer has declined this optionWe offer refunds if customers are not satisfied with service and it sounds like customer is not satisfied so if they wishus to send check for refund on service we would be happy to do soWe do not at this time feel wehave any additional responsibility in this matter until told what is the actual problem and how overfillingwould have caused the problemI would like to mention that the customer came to us to havetransmission fluid exchangedWas there a previous problem? Vehicle did travel to ColoradoVehicleis over years old and has over 100,milesCould it just have had age and use breakdown? On a side note - Anytime a customer comes to us and has a problem relating to another businesswe always call that business to find out how they and customer would like us to proceedThe dealershipthat looked at vehicle in Colorado and Customer never called us to inform us of possible problem until they worked on vehicleIt would have worked well for all parties if this call was made.Sudz - Stands by our work and will work to make things right, but we do research claims and haveto be told what the actual problem is that we causedAt this time overfilling in our research doesnot cause a transmission failure.*** * *** *** Sudz Wash and Lube

In response we are looking into the claim. If Sudz is found to be at fault we have always taken careof the customer. We have researched this on our end and have been told that an overfill does notnecessarily cause a transmission problem, that does not mean that we are not at fault. If the...

transmissionis overfilled it has a breather for excess fluid to escape. We have a reputable transmission shop in the Milwaukee area that has offered to work with a shop in Colorado to see if this problem is a resultof us or age (15 years) of vehicle or some other circumstance. If the claim that two shops the customer claims tohave talked to say overfilling can be problem we would like to know who they are and phone numbersand what overfilling can do to a transmission. Again, if responsible we will take care of problem but wehave to find what the actual problem is on the 15 year over 113,000 mile vehicle that just took a 1500mile trip. 8 Quarts is listed on invoice to account for the total fluid used for flushing out the system (inventory).8 quarts does not mean that is what was put and left in system. Management is working with customerand transmission shops in both Milwaukee and Colorado to pinpoint problem.Steve M[redacted] - Sudz Wash and Lube.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and met with an [redacted], [redacted]. He was very thorough and responsive. He worked with me to identify potential causes of damage during the wash, and explained how the process works for disputing damage. Surveillance tape was reviewed by [redacted] and it was determined this damage was in fact pre existing.  This is complaint has been resolved. I appologize for the time it has taken for Sudz to review my claim and to determine fault but I am very happy I have an answer one way or another on when this damage occurred.

First of all we are sorry that there maybe have been a problem. The process is to see management at the location the incident occurred. By looking at address on claim it wouldbe our [redacted] location. Managers at that site are [redacted]. and [redacted]. either would be happy to look at damage and go...

from there. The sooner the better. I do not know whocustomer talked to when calling but these are the managers that should be asked for. Ournumber at that  location is ###-###-####. I will also forward customers phone numbers for Ken or[redacted] to call customer. On Saturday the 30th we washed over 1500 vehicles and this is the onlyproblem I have heard of. As far as the number ** our number system starts over at 99 so customer may have been ** or [redacted] or [redacted] or [redacted] that day. Again management would have to view the vehicle at sometime so possibly setting up time to stop at wash this Saturday. Steve [redacted] - [redacted]

Review: They did a drain and fill on my transmission overfilled it by 4 quarts before I moved out of state and now they are saying they did not put in 8 quarts even though the paperwork states otherwise. I have teo seperate places one being a transmission shop stating it will cause damage to the transmission, They keep telling me they only put in 4 quarts. I had a dealership remove the excess transmission fluid which equals to 4 quarts, now they wont pay for a diagnostic test and I will have to pay for it out of pocket. It took me 4 days to drive to my new residence on the freeway without knowing about the overfill drove 1200 miles like this before I found out. I took it to the dealership to have excess drained, after I moved the car sat for 2 days while I had the moving truck.Desired Settlement: I want my transmission fixed
