Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes he did... come to do some work and told me he would be back over the weekend to test it out. Waited around for a call to see if anyone would show up to test it but never got the call. I do not even know what work was done as no explanation was given except for a text message the next day. Again trying to avoid getting into a legal battle decided to wait it and out and see if anyone would show up over the weekend. I cannot get a CO From the town when the job is not complete. The engineering company that was recommended by EverClear Pools never finished the final plan that the town asked for. I made the mistake of making the payment before getting final ok from the town. I cannot sell my house because of this situation. I am not going to wait around to get it fixed - final bill will be sent to the law firm to take it from there - already contacted the town to get a letter from them saying the work was never ok'd for final approval since the pool company never resubmitted the correct plans. The Engineering firm will not be paid the final amount due until they provide the final revised plan as requested by the town. The letter from town was provided to the pool company since it was his contact that worked on it but never got a revised plan - they wanted me to pay upfront for work they cannot complete. The credit card company has been informed as well of the charges by the pool company and are investigating the charges. I have tried everything to keep it from making it a legal matter but there is no choice at this point. Sorry but when you hire someone to do work it is their responsibility to finish the job so I can close the paperwork with the town - the town says work is not complete until the pool company submits the requested revised plans. I had to work directly with the town from the beginning on my own to get the final permits to start the work - not my job but the contractors job to do that. I have done several construction projects and never had to deal with the town at all. Regards, [redacted]

I was already at the homeowner's house yesterday and resolved the problem As far as getting the CO from the town, it is his responsibility to call for final inspections...which he told me he did for the pool last season

I was already at the homeowner's house yesterday and resolved the problem.  As far as getting the CO from the town, it is his responsibility to call for final inspections...which he told me he did for the pool last season.
