We sold the car to the consumer approximately six months agoConsumer returned to us to have some issues, unrelated to the one at hand, taken care of on the vehicle promptly after her purchaseWe, the dealer did not object and took care of the consumer and her complaints with the vehiclePlease
note, that this vehicle was sold AS IS to the consumer from the dealership, and that the consumer has full knowledge of thisComing to the situation at hand the consumer had an incident with the vehicle, and in some way or another managed to lock the enginePlease note, this matter is taking action several months after the vehicle's purchase, and that the consumer has been driving the vehicle on a regular basis since the purchase, accumulating miles on the carNonetheless, we the dealer, accommodated the consumer by paying $towards the labor of the repairs, as well as providing the consumer with a loaner car for the duration of the repairsOnce again please note this car was sold AS IS, and it is now several months after the purchase of the car, and yet we the dealer not only accommodated the consumer by providing her with a loaner, but we also paid for the labor repairs on the vehicle, while the warranty she purchased took care of replacing the locked engine

According to the consumer, we were NOT able to approve him for the loan and that we simply took $dollars from that we would not refundThat is simply not true and not how the situation unfoldedThe consumer came in interested in purchasing a vehicle from our dealership, upon taking the
application and and going through the financials, we informed the consumer of what they needed and they were compliant with the terms and that they would return to us with the terms fulfilledWe [the dealership] collected $from the consumer on that night informing him that he had one week to pick up the car with the terms fulfilled or that his money was non-refundable and usable as only in store credit after one week. Fast forward a week's time and the consumer came back in informing us that he is working on completing the terms and that he will be picking up the vehicle ASAPThe consumer offered us an additional $on that day to show that he was serious about the deal, and only upon making sure that he was 100% able to full fill the requested terms did we, the dealer, accept the moneyThe money was accepted with the same terms of up to one week for refund and in store credit only after one weekDuring this time between now, and then our sales team attempted to contact the consumer multiple times, to no successWe, the dealer, have several text message logs of our sales representative attempting to contact the consumer and there were no respondsWe come now to present day in which the consumer contacted us stating he was coming in for a refund, and upon his arrival at the dealership we informed him that we were not able to issue him a refund due to our previous agreementThe consumer informed us that he decided to go and purchase a car elsewhere, regardless of the fact that we were holding this car here for him and had a deal waiting only on himWe went forward with this deal on the basis that the consumer was able to attain and complete the terms that were asked of him, and that we would take a deposit and hold the car on this fact
