TCD Endodontics did not call to confirm whether or not my husband had dental insurance benefitsThey have stated that they called but I confirmed with Delta Dental of Washington that they did notThey also lied to Delta Dental when they called yesterday and said the reason that they did not bill for the services they provided were because we had hit our maxWhich we had not, we still had $1,remaining of benefitsThey forced my husband to sign a paper for responsibility, while he was in pain, awaiting a root canal for hours in the chair with NovocaineHe was under the impression it would be for the remaining balance, after insurance paid their portion, not the entire amount, and the girl in the front assured not to worry, that insurance would be billed(Not to mention they had multiple clerical errors throughout the billing such as spelling his name incorrectly and transposing my phone number to contact me back) I called numerous times, and I was assured, not to worry, disre

Review: On January 9 2013 I went to Tcd Endodontics for an oral evaluation. I paid the $132.00 out of pocket cost and scheduled a root canal for January 30 2013.

On January 30th I showed up for my appointment. The root canal could not be completed . I had to have the tooth extracted at my dentist. When leaving Tcd Endodontics on January 30th I asked if there was any charge for the incomplete endo. I was told by the receptionist there was no charge and I left. On August 9th 2013 I received a call about an outstanding bill. The amount is only $32.40 but why wait 8 months and no explanation of why I am being charged now. They received two insurance payment claims and now are coming after me for more money. This type of billing practice is not normal.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed the $32.40 payment since the extracted enough money from my insurance and an apology.

Review: I went in for a root canal. I gave them information on both insurances and asked if they were contracted with my insurance and they stated that they were. I received an estimate for the services. I again asked if the estimate was could be off and if so then by how much. I was told told that this was the worse case scenario. I was very aggressive in my questions and stated that I couldn't afford a big bill later. That I was not going to have the procedure done if there was a chance that I would owe a bill later. Therefore, I was surprised when I received a bill for 653.00. I immediately called and was told not to worry about it and that there must have been a mistake. . Now I am being told they are not contracted and I owe this. I believe that they were aware all along that they were not contracted. I believe this is a case of omitting information and lying in order to get my business. I have to insurances that I pay for. I would have gone to a contracted dentist. I made this quite clear at the time of service that I could not more then my $175.00 co pay they were charging me.Desired Settlement: They need to write this off.
