Mr. Sutton must be getting my car confused with another.My car is a Hyundai and not...
a "Nissan". He came to my house with someone and asked if I still want my car painted.It was discussed at that time what I wanted done. We went around my car and discussed the painting of the fender,painting along the rocket panels and repair of the rear (where he said it was rotten and it still need repair and painting). The painting along the rocket panel and rear repair and painting are my chief complaints. He called and said the car was finished, I expected it to be so, but it was not.He told me to bring it back Sunday, when I called he said he was sick, and I never heard from him again until he answered this complaint. I had replaced both fenders, brought the paint, reducer,clear coat which I thought was the major things, But he said I also needed some primer,thinner and something else.I have the receipts. Mr.Sutton stated he needed some 3-3/4" rolls of masking tape, so my friend and went to get the tape.By the way, I have a card from MR.Sutton /statement indicating I paid him an initial $100.00 down payment with a $175.00 balance. I am not going to pay Mr. Sutton $100.00 down with a balance of $175.00 to watch me paint and do the body work on my car. I brought a new paint gun and I wanted to learn to use it, but I was not paying Mr.Sutton $275.00 watch me paint my two front car fenders in his alley. One night, when I came to pick up my car, Mr. Sutton stated he needed some ribbits and three 1/8 drill bits.Since, he wanted $65.00 more dollars I paid that in addition ;Therefore, he was paid $340.00. He is not licensed to business by the State of Indiana (corporation)nor the City of Gary in his alley. I would have settled for a small reimbursement an a apology-I will fax or mail copies of my evidence.Finally, I never ask or discussed painting the whole car.
