Review: We had a brand new roof installed four (4) years ago using Timerline roof which carries a warranty of ten years. The roof started to leak within two (2) weeks of installation. The company has been back numerous times to fix the problem, but to no avail. The inside walls of our bathroom is damaged (mold?), and their remedies were not effective. Since the roof has leaked for several years now (from the onset of installation), we contracted another company to install a BRAND new roof. Our decision was based on the fact that Tantucci could not remedy the problem, nor did they offer to re-install a new roof. The aggravation and disgust from the constant leak and damages sustained to the interior walls of our bathroom (for the last four years) has made it so that we had to dish out thousands to have a different contractor install a new roof not to mention the leak has now started in our master bedroom.
Thousands of dollars spent to re-install has cleaned out our savings and forced me to write this compliant. As a consumer who entrusted my home and money to a contractor should not have to pay additional thousands of dollars and not have the assurance of the contractor that it will be fixed or to re-install a new roof. There were many different installation problems that were noted when we had another contractors come out for estimates and to our surprise, the roof/work that Tantucci installed was not up to the standards of the amount that they charge homeowners for.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome would have been to re-install a new roof, but at this point, we do not believe they will be able to CORRECTLY fix anything. It would be nice if they offered to reimburse us for at LEAST Partial subrogation of the money we are now dishing out to the new DEPENDABLE contractor. This may be a unrealized expectation, but if none of this is possible, I would like the Revdex.com to know what type of business Tantucci is.
On a side note, we have been nothing but patient and accommodating with this company and we have not received the same courtesy.
