Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Regards, [redacted] *** They have not address the discrepancies in their itemized statement to me and the amount they claim I owe I have tabulated both their itemized statement and my insurance billing statements as to what I may owe and both come up around $less than what they are expecting me to pay And I do not care what agreements insurance companies make as far as billing for items It is morally wrong to charge three to four times more for an item, and then expect the patient to pay a portion of the ridiculous amount for something he or she did not really see necessary in the first place They may have had me sign an agreement, but they were not truthful with me by not letting me know that I was going to be paying not only $co-pay but also percentage on waexercises and percentage on equipment that is over priced Superior Healthcare talks about ethics What they have done and are doing to me is most unethical We have allowed this nonsense to go on for way too long with our health care system between insurance companies and medical professionals Just because Superior Healthcare says this is the way it is done does not mean it is just and right

The out of pocket(patient) cost of the durable medical equipment was noted and discussed in the patients financial form The total of the care plan was $ We can not legally refund or return durable medical equipment The fact that another chiropractor thinks we charged too much is completely erroneous due to the fact we are not a chiropractic clinic and the patient received more then chiropractic care This is an ethical policy that we recover co-pay and co-insurance of patients These fees are set by medical insurance companies and are not ours to manipulate The fact that this patient has gone out of his way to slander our practice is uncalled for and hurts the reputation of our clinic The fact that this patient filed a board compliant which could ruin the livelihood of one of our providers is absurd Our fees follow all medical guidelines If the patient does not agree they need to file a complaint with the medical board, his insurance company and their fee schedule We have followed the rules on our end and we expect patients to do the same

These fees are not negotiable. They are the contracted amount we are required to recover due to insurance regulations. This has already been qualified as justifiable from the medical and chiropractic boards of South Carolina.  If Mr. [redacted] continues to try and slander my name I will be forced...

to contact my attorney and file a cease and desist.

[redacted]      They have not address the discrepancies in their itemized statement to me and the amount they claim I owe.  I have tabulated both their itemized statement and my insurance billing statements as to what I may owe and both come up around $250 less than what they are expecting me to pay.  And I do not care what agreements insurance companies make as far as billing for items.  It is morally wrong to charge three to four times more for an item, and then expect the patient to pay a portion of the ridiculous amount for something he or she did not really see necessary in the first place.  They may have had me sign an agreement, but they were not truthful with me by not letting me know that I was going to be paying not only $20 co-pay but also percentage on warm-up exercises and percentage on equipment that is over priced.  Superior Healthcare talks about ethics.  What they have done and are doing to me is most unethical.  We have allowed this nonsense to go on for way too long with our health care system between insurance companies and medical professionals.  Just because Superior Healthcare says this is the way it is done does not mean it is just and right.
