received nothing at all, since they were supposed to pay me through their deductible. This was horrible, and one year later, they still have not paid me for my services, which were offered in good faith. Other than simply not wanting to pay me, there is no reason they should not pay this amount to me. It is the client’s responsibility to see if the provider is in the network. Again, this is something I had never encountered before, so there was no reason for me to check on it. I hope this clears everything up. She just doesn’t want to pay me. If I were that bad a counselor, I am sure she would have dropped out before seven or eight visits. Please! And, as you can see, this is the first complaint you have had in nineteen years of my business. As for “threatening” her with collections, this is what people who have been robbed of services do. Again, I did not receive any notice before this one, unless it somehow was deleted by mistake. But nothing by mail, I am sure. I take this matter very seriously.
