Review: We canceled our order before the item was ever shipped and told that they could not credit or credit card back and that they would have to issue a paper check. We followed all the necessary steps and now the company is out of business! We never received our item, our money back and our credit card company said that The Place Furniture drug us along just enough time so that the charges could not be disputed and credited back to our account. We are out $249.00 plus tax. They do not respond to emails or calls. There is never a real person to speak to.Desired Settlement: We want the money we are out. These people are crooks and should be in jail!

Review: Purchased Paula Deen Hall Table from The Place Furniture Galleries online on 09/**/2012. Received a generic invoice and was billed $515.00 on my credit card on 09/**/2012. Invoice stated allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Waited past the 6 weeks. Called on 12/**/2012, spoke to [redacted] regarding item. [redacted] said item was on backorder and will be shipped on 12/**/2012. Called 01/**/2013, went straight to voicemail, left message, no returned calls. Have been calling every other week, no answer, straight to voicemail. It's 06/**/2013, no Paula Deen Hall Table and out $515.00.Desired Settlement: Refund of $515.00

Review: I purchsed end tables last year. The company kept telling me that the product was delayed. Late last year they finally said that the tables were discontinued. I requested a refund, but never received it. I called multiple times and left messages but no one called back. Today I was able to reach someone at THE PLACE FURNITURE at[redacted]. They told me that THE PLACE FURNITURE I ordered from moved (I had no idea there were 2 THE PLACE FURNITURE GALLERIES at the same number). I was given another number to call [redacted]. This number has been disconnected. My Order confirmation number is [redacted] I would like to be reimbursed. I think The Place Furniture Gallery should be responsible for what their internect division sells.Desired Settlement: I would like my money returned.
