I have been hacked by this company Global IT Webstore LLC. They said they were refunding me $500. but once they got into my bank they transfered $5000. from my savings to my checking then bank said they took $2500. more ! I have contacted police, my phone company and bank. Bank not open until Tuesday. I have put a freeze on everything.

Review: I was downloading a movie on Monday (March **) when their site popped up notifying me of a computer issue. I accepted the offer, then researched and found out it was a scam so I cancelled my service within an hour, and I was told I would a refund within 48 hours. I have sent emails, and called numerous times and still have not received my refund of 249.99 four days later. When I did call, they were rude and hung up on me, and they also never replied to any of my emails.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money.

After calling the company for 5 days straight, they finally said that they were going to email me an invoice where they deposited the money back into my account on Thursday. Around Friday afternoon, I still had not received an email from them. So I called back, and they once again said they would email me the invoice - I still did not receive it. It was then that I called back another time and stayed on the line with him until I received the email saying the money was deposited back into my account on Friday (March **) after being told since Monday (March **) that they were putting it back into my account. On Monday (March **), I called them again and the man said to wait an additional 24 hours. However, we have been in touch with my bank as well since all of this started, and they were going to file fraudulent papers if the payment was not in my account yesterday evening. Although I am not sure if this was due to the bank filing fraudulent papers or if their payment came through, this matter has been resolved and my payment of 249.99 is back in my account.
