Review: Turned in my saddle for consignment. It has since sold and I still have not recieved my money after nine weeks.
I turn my saddle in to The Horse Store and More for a consignment sale. It was in their store for over a year before it sold, but I would call about every 8 weeks to see if it had sold and if not I would come get it out of the way. At the end of May I called and the owner said she would check and let me know. On the 5th of June I got a voice mail from the owner saying that my saddle did sell and that she was putting the information in the computer and that she would get the check in the mail that week or I could come to pick it up. I called again after not receiving the check and she said she would get it out that tuesday... NINE weeks now and I still have not gotten my money!!!! I have left messages reconfirming my mailing address and no calls have been returned! Desired Settlement: I would like my money for the saddle.. If they can not produce the money than I want my choice of a saddle that they have in the store.

We have sent a check to [redacted] as of August 16th, 2013. I sent an apology for the tardiness in the check as well as a $20.00 gift certificate. We take pride in providing good customer service and have had a lot of personal stressful things going on beyond the business.
Our routine in handling consignment items is to encourage customers to come in the second week of the following month of the sale of the consigned item. We prefer personal contact, but have sent checks out as well. The note regarding her call had gotten misplaced.
I will add, that my note dated 7/20/13 when I spoke to her on the phone regarding her sale would ordinarily be taken care of the second week of the following month.
I hope this can be reversed and not be on record for public viewing, especially in light of the fact her check was sent to her as were others that had items sold in June and July.

One other thing regarding her "desired" resolution. She states she wants her money or a choice of saddles in the store.
We carry saddles from $50.00 to $3000.00. Don't think that would work especially when we actually paid back in the time we state on our consignment agreements.
