To whom it may concern:We spoke with this person today about this matter of the fee she was charged She called today and was very rude along with swearing to my receptionist about being charged for failing to show or cancel the appointment in a timely manner When I spoke with her I was
polite and explained the policy we have after which she then swore at me and threaten Ed to contact Groupon and Revdex.com.We have a policy that appointments must be canceled up to hours prior to the service or be charged 25% of the serviceShe would have been advised of this when she booked her first appointment After booking her first and second appointment she would have also received a text message confirming the booking She would have also received a text message hours prior to the appointment as a reminder as well Why didn't she call us to cancel after the first or second text messages? It is our desire to do our best to satisfy our customers After speaking with the service provider that performed the Shellac service it was my understanding that the person was rude to her as well during the service Why leave a tip and book another service if she wasn't happy with it? Why didn't she address this issue at the time of service? Why didn't she call us afterwards? Why did she think it was Groupon's responsibility to contact us and cancel her appointment? Groupon neither books or cancels appointments for any of their discount paying customers. Why is it rude to say no to giving a refund? As a business we have to protect our ability to pay wages for our commissioned employees Not only will we not receive payment for the first service, but also a loss for the time she reserved for her second appointment, which she never planned on appearing for That time could've been booked with another paying customer It is apparent that the shift of responsibility has been towards Groupon for not canceling the appointment she made and also ours for believing that she would show for her appointment despite after the fact of receiving messages and reminders for her appointment In addition Groupon has no authority over our policies nor do they have any obligation to mention them in their offeringsIt is clear she never intended to show for her appointment as a form of pay back to us, which only resulted in a penalty for her and now doesn't think it fair.We will refund the $ Not because of the complaint, rather because we only want to receive payments from people that honor and respect the time of our staff and services.Sincerely,The Main Salon, LLC

The refund has been processed and customer should already have it credited to her account.
