This claim is perplexing and the claims are false. Any complaint is taken very seriously at our firm. I had called [redacted] back the same day he had called my office (Tuesday 1/**) to address his issue as he had left a message expressing his frustration with our firm. I had investigated the facts...
that occurred and apologized for any perceived issue but the facts are as follows: The complainant, [redacted], had selected the “open to opportunities” option on his LinkedIn profile, which is a designation that an individual has to specifically select on LinkedIn. This is a feature that was just released within the past 2-3 months, which would lead any recruiter to believe that a professional with such designation selected would welcome any phone calls related to relevant career opportunities. This designation has since been removed (as of Monday January [redacted]). Additionally, as seen in the attached screenshot, [redacted] had applied to an opportunity we had posted in the past. Our recruiter, Alex H[redacted] who is very professional and has a soft spoken nature, called [redacted] on Tuesday January [redacted] at 11:38am and left a voice mail and an e-mail to present a career opportunity, to which there was no response. Alex then followed up with a call on Tuesday January [redacted] at 8:40am and spoke with [redacted] briefly. The complainant hung up abruptly mid-conversation and was angered about receiving the call and then called our firm perturbed about this “harassment”. This engagement of two phone calls cannot be characterized as harassment as the complainant had expressed in his LinkedIn profile that he was open to opportunities. If he had ever expressed that he did not want us to contact him we would never do so. In our 32 years of business this is the first complaint we have received. We take pride in and stand by our professionalism. We certainly feel badly that this individual was so taken aback by a call but we feel very comfortable he was projecting his bitterness and anger at our firm unreasonably.
