Review: Owner [redacted] - The Mattress Outlet [redacted]Contact [redacted]. On 02/3/15 purchased a [redacted] Mattress from [redacted]. Told me and my brother that she will be ordering a brand new set. That she will speak to [redacted] her husband on when we should be getting it . Paid for new mattress set with credit card. She had a floor model set only which was cover in plastic told me to lay on it try it out which I did. It was covered in plastic sheeting. told me to lye on it and try it out to see how I like it. On Saturday 02/07/15 call store asked when new mattress set that I order would be in . Was told [redacted] owner would be delivering it today between 3-4pm. on 02/07/15. Advised women on the phone was concerned because we where having a snow storm that day. She called me back and said it will be delivered by 1pm. [redacted] the Owner delivered the Mattress Set in the back of his plow truck open in the back with mattress covered in original plastic covers mattress came in along what it looked like a work board a long 2 by 4 just thrown in back of his snow plow open to the snow elements . He and another man tore of plastic off mattress outside in snow and dirty steps not inside my condo. Carried mattress up with dirty boots into bedroom. Put mattress set down took out old mattress charge me $20.00 to remove old mattress. I saw on corner of mattress they got it dirty from snow dirt. wiped it off let small brown stain. Then on 02/10/15 saw material from box spring just hanging. I call store to let them know. I got answering machine. Went over to store spoke to a [redacted] new sales rep.He told me owner would call me back. While there I saw the floor model of [redacted] set gone. I went home looked at tag on mattress set saying my mattress was made 03/07/13 was made. I called [redacted] they told me it was old mattress they havent made it in years and I had to have been sold floor model. The reason the mattress company new was tags on mattress .Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of [redacted] Mattress Set of $849.74. I was sold a floormodel set without my consent. I placed a order for a brand new [redacted]Mattress Set. Owner [redacted] took my order as well my $849.74 knowing full wellthe mattress set had not been made in a few years that she couldn't order me a new setleading to believe that it was I purchased when in reality it was going to be the floor model.[redacted] made choice for me to get the sale.
