I am not sure how this organization obtained my address (or my son's college address) but they sent us very expensive, impressive looking mailings that implicitly suggest scholarship opportunities if you pay a $95 membership fee. I examined their IRS 990 for 2013 (this is a required filing for all non-profit organizations). Their filing indicated Income of $9,135,251 and "Grants and other assistance" of $359,494. That means that they give away less than 4% of their income. This is an appallingly small amount for a non profit. They have sent multiple mailings.
