The Palms at Augusta Ranch Reviews (2)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not complain to the front office regarding the missing basket. The maintenance service offered by the complex was atrocious. It took them three attempts to resolve an issue with my washer in which it would not drain. Shortly thereafter, I discontinued responding to their emailed surveys requesting feedback on their 'service' because it was easy to discern the company could care less about an ineffective washer, so what would make them suddenly responsive regarding a silverware tray in a dishwasher. Again, I ask, if I was in the process of moving into a new apartment, what incentive would I have to arbitrarily remove a silverware to tray from their dishwasher. Finally, the claim that pet stain removal had to be utilized to clean the apartment is absolutely absurd. I did not have pets. Many family members and friends did however point out on numerous occasions that the washroom smelled of animal urine. After thoroughly steam cleaning the floors, I did not observe any stains. Any stains that were noticed had to have been there prior to my taking up occupancy.Regards,[redacted]

This response is in regards to the complaint filed by [redacted] on 12/17/2013. Here at the [redacted] at [redacted] we follow the same procedures with all residents to be compliant with the Fair housing laws. We require all residents to complete a walk through condition form which I have...

attached from [redacted] resident file. On this form we inform the resident to do a complete walk through to ensure if anything is damaged, dirty, missing ect, to list it on this form so they will not be charged at move out. In regards to the charge of the missing silverware basket in the dishwasher, it was not stated on the move in condition form that it was missing at move in and all of our apartments come standard with the basket at move in. In regards to the cleaning charges we will respect that the resident took the time to clean his apartment as stated in the lease to avoid any cleaning charges which he was not charged with any. Per the signed lease agreement it states if there are any damages at the time of move out the resident is responsible for the charges. We did not charge for a carpet cleaning however we did have to complete a pet treatment on the carpet (see attached invoice) which the resident is responsible for paying.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything you need from me. Thank you. [redacted]Property Manager[redacted]
