Here is the wording of the attached document in case the attachment does not come through.  Thank you for you assistance in this matter. We appreciate you bringing this to management’s attention.  We apologize for your frustrating experience. We do have a no show policy that allows...

one free missed appointment and then for each missed appointment after that, this is a compounding $15 fee. The charges are per account guarantor, not the individual patient.  We have this policy to help minimize missed appointments and allow us to be available to see as many of our patients as possible.  We understand that life happens and sometimes an appointment is forgotten, that is why the first one is on us.  Our records indicate the first missed appointment was on 11/24/14 (which was the free visit), the second one was 6/1/17 (a $15 charge was placed).  Often when a parent calls and their child needs to be seen, but has a no show block on the account, we work with the parent to discount or even write off the fee.  We have instructed our staff to listen to our parents and be patient with them as this can be a frustrating thing.  We don’t feel our employees deserve to be yelled at and called names either.  In this case, the incident was documented that our employee felt she was patient with you and trying to work through this, while you were belligerent and calling her names such as a liar.  It should be noted that despite having a no show fee, your child was seen and the wound glued. We apologize that the glue did not hold on your child’s wound.  In the providers note it stated treatment options were discussed with you.  You wanted to minimize scarring so Derma Flex was chosen. It also states four layers of Derma Flex was applied with good approximation and your child was monitored for 30 minutes after the procedure.  We understand children are active and when using glue or stitches there is always a risk the wound may pop open.  I can assure you there was not a breech in your child’s medical records.  We have several security measures in place to ensure nothing is compromised. We want you to feel satisfied in the care and service you receive here.  I have reached out to you to discuss this matter more.  We have an appointment set up for tomorrow; I have high hopes that we can resolve this issue then.
