The Piano Exchange Reviews (2)

Review: Picked up piano 7/*/14 with understanding that he would try to sell on consignment. If nothing came of that after 6 months, he would purchase outright for $500-$600; since, January, despite many phone calls and an e-mail, total non-response when it became time to close on written and verbal contracts.Desired Settlement: [redacted], had said that after six months if he had not sold piano, he would then purchase. My brother (in **) and I have called him at least 10 times, connecting with individual who works for him, who takes explicit messages but absolutely no word back from [redacted]. This is an estate matter and we want to bring it to a close.

Review: Upon moving from Long Island, NY, to Florida I spoke with Richard S[redacted] of Piano Exchange, Glen Cove ny and left some antique furniture and decorative items that I owned with him to sell on consignment at his store. His driver picked those 4 items up from my home and signed a document that he took them to their store. One of the items was sold at a price agreed upon by me and commission was paid to piano exchange. After over a year there seemed to be no sales activity on my other items. I even visited the store and was told the items are located in another storage location. Mr. S[redacted] suggested we lower the prices on the items so I did. After no activity again I then asked mr. S[redacted] to let me have my items back. I was met with the great disappointment when he told me that the decorative mirror that was a part of the antique vanity furniture had been broken by his employees. I was very upset but then realized he probably had me lower, the value for sale as he knew it had been broken by his staff. Over the past few years now, Mr. S[redacted] and his employee Ben have taken about 20 telephone calls and a letter from me indicating my exhausted feelings of wanting to be paid something for my items. They may be all broken, damaged, lost, or sold, I do not know. Whenever I telephone piano exchange I am told they will call me back but they never do. It's been a very frustrating time dealing with piano exchange. I just don't understand how they can take other individuals property and then just keep it????? I not sure if they are doing this to other people as well and that this is a scam.Desired Settlement: I want piano exchange to pay me for my items since they have now damaged them or don't even know where they are as they have told me. It's been several years since I have tried getting them to resolve this issue and need the Revdex.com's help at this time.
