The Plaza Regency at Park Ridge

Review: My Mom, Ms. [redacted] was a resident for many months at this facility and passed away on January 30, 2015. My sister [redacted] and I gave this facility payment ($10,500) for February a couple of days before her sudden passing on or around January 27 as an advance for that month's care. That month's care of course never happened given the situation. The accounting office at Plaza Regency promised us a full refund after a processing period of 30 to 60 days. Imagine our surprise when we received only a bit over $6500 (Specifically $6524.09-Check #[redacted]-dated 4/9/15) out of the original $10,500 that we provided for February's care. The check came to us with our mother's name misspelled and most importantly with no justification as to the missing $4000 that we paid to the facility at the end of January 2015. My sister and I have tried over the last week to get a reconciliation from Ms. Francine [redacted] their Accounting Manager to no avail. Ms. [redacted] never called us back at any time on this. Her boss, Mr. George A[redacted], who is the Administrator of that facility called me on Monday April 20 to tell me that MS. [redacted] would call me with a statement reconciliation the following day. I have not hear back from her in any form either by phone or e-mail and my sister has not heard back to her either in any form since George's called me at my workplace on April 20.Desired Settlement: REFUND OF THE $4000 NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL CHECK. IF THERE IS A REASONABLE RECONCILIATION MY SISTER AND I NEED TO SEE AND REVIEW IT ASAP.WE NEED AN APOLOGY AND EXPLANATION AS TO WHY DESPITE NUMEROUS CIVIL ATTEMPTS AT COMMUNICATION, WE WERE NOT CONTACTED BY MS. [redacted] AND HER OFFICE ON THIS SITUATION
