Our records indicate two telephone numbers on the account in question. A call was made to each of those with no answer on August 8th, 2017. A second call was made to each on August 22nd, 2017, with our representative speaking with the elder Ms*** and requesting that the younger Ms*** contact our firm. Our firm has not spoken with the younger Ms*** at any time since we received her account on July 31, 2017. This firm informed the younger Ms*** via first-class letter sent on August 1st, of our retention. To wit, this firm has not received any authorizations, either verbal, or in writing, to speak with the elder Ms*** regarding the younger Ms***'s account. Based on our records, and the elder Ms***'s statement from her daughter that she (the younger Ms***) had spoken with a representative on multiple occasions, it would appear that the ladies may be referring to a representative from a collection agency that worked the account prior to it coming to this firm. Again, we take these matters very seriously and apologize for any consternation caused to the complainant; we have reminded the parties involved regarding performing their job duties with professionalism. This is in response to claim #[redacted].  We take these complaints very seriously.  We have reviewed and interviewed all parties involved on our firm’s behalf.  We take our responsibilities under relevant privacy laws very seriously.  These situations can be especially difficult...

in the parent/adult-child dynamic described herein.  Our firm has a history of comporting ourselves in a professional manner and believe this to be the case for this matter at hand.  In any event, we have reminded our professionals to comport themselves accordingly.  Again, we take these matters very seriously and apologize for any consternation caused to the complainant.  Should you need anything further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
