The Right Fit

My personal trainer started working at this gym and in order to continue working with her, I had to join the new gym, which I did beginning in November 2015. Nearly immediately, I had a change at work which would have me traveling away from home for several months. Since the contract was month to month, I approached the staff to determine what was needed to cancel the membership. I was asked to write down my information and my request to cancel, which I did and was told it would be given to the correct person to cancel.
The automatic monthly payments of $34.99 each, continued for 7 more months before I was able to get them stopped. I spoke with a gentleman there who wasn't sure why they hadn't been stopped, he said they had record of the cancellation that I requested at the end of November and told me he would work on getting the refund of $244.93 taken care of. I followed up with him several times via email and phone and my messages have all gone unanswered for several months. I even reached out via the "contact us" feature on their website, thinking maybe he was no longer with them.
