The Tidy Garage

Bought a voucher through Amazon local. Made an appointment and waited for them to show up. After several hours, I had left messages and emailed and I finally got a call saying the serviceman had an emergency and had to take his pregnant wife to the hospital, and their system was down so they couldn't contact me earlier. We rescheduled and this time I got an email confirmation. The morning they were supposed to arrive, I got a call apologizing that they could not reach me sooner but heir system had been down, and they needed to reschedule. I asked for a direct line to call if I had a problem again and they gave me one that they would answer right away. The third time, they never showed, I called the number and of course had to leave a message. They called many hours later to apologize and I demanded my money back which they said they would honor. I went to my Amazon voucher the next day and they had marked the voucher as used. Amazon took care of it an refunded my money, but wouldn't remove them from their site unless other people complained.

In September, I purchased the Tidy Garage cleaning services through Amazon local at a reduced price - $119.00. When I called on 16 October 2014 to set up the appointment I spoke with [redacted] who after discussing my garage size and clutter-level said I needed more than what the Amazon local service offered, so after setting the appointment for 8 November 2014 I paid the extra $34.99 through PayPal. I received several confirmation emails that stated if I canceled the appointment without 48 hours warning there will be a $25 rescheduling fee. On 8 November 2014, no one showed up or called. I called numerous times and left messages at Tidy Garages, but no one ever called me back. I sent an email to Tidy Garages and received an email a few days later apologizing and stating that I could reschedule after 23 November. We needed them on the day that we scheduled. My husband and I ended up cleaning the garage ourselves over five hours with some time on a few more days for a bit more organization. I emailed and called Tidy Garages several times over a few weeks and never heard from them. I received a refund through Amazon local and I received a refund from my credit card company since Tidy Garages never showed up or called me back.
