Advertising a person as ANYTHING from the play, whether it is as an actor, director, or something else IMPLIES that the person will be THERE at the play. Also, the *** *** account @*** received one response from someone on May *, before the show that night, which said the person saw the play the previous night which was April ** when I saw it, and @*** said "Thanks for noticing us" or something, which implied that he was THERE in person with all the others who were THERE. I know it is not the Theatre's fault if *** does not have a *** account and only a *** has an account posing as him, but it is their fault if they would agree to list his name without him being there. I just cannot see it any other way. If I owned a theatre and the actors wanted to list a favorite actor as their director, but I did not have that actor's consent to appear in PERSON, I would never list the name at all.

Review: On April **, 2015, I attended a show at THEATRE ROW on [redacted], BECAUSE the sign hanging up in their building when I went to the box office window to buy a ticket the Wednesday before that, boldly advertised an A-list actor, co-producer, and director, [redacted], as the director of the [redacted]. This actor has been in more than 100 films and TV shows, and I have seen over 53 of them! I also remembered having worked with this man in childhood and just wanted to see him LIVE in adulthood to watch him live and see if he would sign autographs or remember me. Even if he did not sign autographs, the show would have been fine if he was at least THERE and came out for a bow at the end. I would not have paid $16.25 to take a MetroNorth train to NYC, $19.25 for the ticket to the show, $21.75 for a train back home, then the day of the show, $16.25 to go to NYC and $16.25 to go home again. I do not even have a job at all, so I was planning to spend my extremely LIMITED savings on select special things. Seeing my man, favorite actor, [redacted], is basically the top and only thing I ever wanted.At this show, I did not feel a vibe or presence of [redacted] at all. When he did not come out at the end, I asked a Theatre Row employee if he was in the house or not and she said he was NOT and that he was only there in the beginning of the production but went "home" after that.I agree the theater should receive a penalty for saying this actor would APPEAR at their show when they either had no proof of this and did not meet him themselves or agree he said he was not interested. on [redacted], other people mentioned that they were going to "see" [redacted] also, meaning that all people thought their sign meant that he would be there directly IN PERSON.Desired Settlement: $19.25 (price of ticket) + $16.25 (price of one-way Metro-North ticket) + $21.75 (price of one-way peak Metro-North ticket) + $16.25 (price of one-way) + $16.25 (price of one-way) = $89.75You're lucky I didn't add in the Purity Vodka I bought for before and after the show, [redacted]'s brand with [redacted]!
