Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/10/02) */
Per Email from the business: "Good Afternoon Taylor,
I have reviewed the letters you have mailed and would like to clarify some items on complaint activity report case # XXXXXXXXI am requesting that this complaint case be dropped, because
business has been conducted between both parties and their advertising was purchased and published
The complaint is suggesting that they have paid an advertising bill twice and never had seen any adsHowever, this complaint is against business info: This Week's Shopping News
They didn't run any ads in this This Week's Shopping News during the time of complaint
The Midweek Incpublishes This Week's Shopping News and several other different types of products and one of our products is geared towards real estate and home improvement called: Today's Lake & Home Improvement Guide
The client *** *** *** from *** *** MN had ran ads in our May 2015, June and July Today's Lake & Home Improvement Guide
They paid for the May Today's Lake & Home Improvement Guide issue on June 12, with check number ending in #in the amount of $
They paid for the June Today's Lake & Home Improvement Guide issue on July 14, with check number ending in #in the amount of $
The July Today's Lake & Home Improvement Guide issue invoice is still outstanding and service charges have been accruing and the total amount they owe for this issue is $
They are asking for the consumer's desired resolution: to refund the entire $back$for the ad that we never saw and another $for the accidental double payment
I have attached within this email: copies of all their published ads along with their statement and a detail activity report showing the three ads with issue dates
They are asking for a refund when they have already paid for two past ads that ran in May and June and haven't paid for the July issue
I am requesting that this complaint to be dropped, because there is no wrong doing on behalf of The Midweek and ad space was purchased and provide
Thank you for taking the time to get this issue resolved
Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with
Thanks,
Jon ***
