There was miscommunication with this customer regarding the start date of this project He was expecting work on the project to begin immediately after the new year, which we were not able to doI told Mr [redacted] that we would be able start on January 15th or 16th, but at that point he had already made up his mind not to go forward with us on this project and told me that he was not willing to work with me eitherI'm sorry about how this worked out and for the misunderstanding regarding the start date Of course, Mr [redacted] will receive a refund for the services that were not provided under this contract- [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11971061, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to my wife and I With the necessary and required assistance of the Comal County Sheriffs Office Criminal Investigations Division , we have finally been reimbursed for most of our losses ( except for fees expended to send required legal notices that were ignored by the contractor and the time spent with two lawyers discussing our optionsThis all could have been avoided had Mr[redacted] just did the right thing in the beginning and put our money in an escrow acct, as required by law, and maintained COMMUNICATION with usWe WOULD HAVE worked w/him on the original start date, but after receiving our down payment for an agreed upon list of items for our project,he cashed the check same day and we never heard from him againWhat would you think about this behavior if it was YOUR money and time involved ?!
