To: [redacted] Re: Complaint ID [redacted] From: Anthony K[redacted], TKP AUTO SALES INC., **. [redacted] purchased a [redacted] from TKP Auto Sales, Inc on March 13, 2017. Prior to the purchase, she test drove the vehicle on two separate occasions....
In addition to [redacted] test drive she had her fiancé take the vehicle for a test drive. After the 3 separate test drives [redacted] had some concerns with vehicle but overall was pleased with how it drove. The concerns were a cracked fog light, condensation in the driver's mirror, and a service light reminder for an oil change. It was agreed that the customer and dealership would split the cost of the fog light and mirror. [redacted] sated that she would take It to the local [redacted] dealership to have the parts installed and have the oil changed while it was there. On March 16, she had the car at the local [redacted] Dealership and had the recommended service performed (oil change), had the electrical system checked, washed, and had wipers replaced. [redacted] called TKP and stated that the transponder In the key had stopped working and that she needed ZO have a new one made to start the vehicle. The cost of the key was roughly $200, the cost of the fog light and drivers mirror was approximately $400. Considering the monies spent on the key, [redacted] would not have to pay for the fog light and mirror so long as [redacted] provide TKP with a copy of the receipt. The receipt was never given to TKP. TKP provided [redacted] with the fog light and the mirror. On March 31 [redacted] proceeded to the Mercedes dealership to have the parts installed. On April 13 TKP is notified by Revdex.com that we have a customer review. On April 14 TKP Is notified that it has a customer complaint from [redacted]. Prior to the notification from the Revdex.com [redacted] had not contacted TKP Auto directly with any concerns following the key incident. All vehicles sold at the dealership are sold AS-IS. With that being said, TKP has had a very long history with working with customers and will continue to do so going forward. [redacted] can contact the TKP, or if she wishes TKP will contact her to review the matter. Respectfully Anthony K[redacted] office [redacted] cell [redacted]
