Tommy's Tanning

Review: In September of 2013, I visited Tommy's Tanning, located in [redacted]. I signed an agreement that I would pay $74.00 per month for tanning. Unfortunately, I had some health issues thereafter that prevented me from tanning. According to my documented statements, I tanned ONCE and was charged each month until January of 2014, despite speaking to staff. Due to personal medical issues, I never returned. I contacted Tommy's Tanning Corporate office for a refund, and received the email below from a woman by the name of [redacted]. She wrote:Hi [redacted],We looked into your account and it clearly shows you only tanned once. You did read our contract correctly, but we understand particularsituations. We can put a store credit on your account for the money youwere charged, so you can use that money at any time for anything Tommy'sTanning sells, including memberships, packages and gift cards and it willnever expire.Let me know if that works for you.Thanks,[redacted]My response:Dear [redacted], I would like a refund of $378.00. This figure was obtained by looking at previous checking account statements for the months of September 2013 through January 2014.I am contacting the Revdex.com of CT to examine this situation, listen to my complaint, review my documents from September 2013 through January 2014, and resolve this dispute that has taken FAR too much time as it is. My address is [redacted]. I look forward to your reply.I have since sent another email, redundant of the one above. I would like my money back. I should not be penalized for a medical issue, nor should I have to wait for something that is rightfully mine. The vouchers they offered are unacceptable, as I am still unable to use tanning beds on a regular basis. I only want what's fair.I'd appreciate a prompt response.
