week later, I picked up the PC, being advised he ran into a "fatal error" on the PC, and "lost" a few programs - because he had to re-install Windows
A dozen critical programs were missing when I got home and booted up; and get thisthe PC slot for the internet connection was EMPTY! along with several other slots in the back of the computer
All critical programs were destroyed/erased/ or inaccessible - including security camera connections (I have for my home), as well as paid-for creative programs for photos and video
All attempts at a cure failed; the computer was virtually trashed
Cost of a new computer was $ Of course, the new computer is loaded with Windows (mine was Windows 7); so, attempting to re-install programs from the distributers has been like *** week
Security is still non-functional; passwords are totally gone
