Review: Our company paid for the right to be the sole vendors of ice-cream products at the River of Fire Festival July 4th. prior to the event we informed Towne Square Media of the potential of other vendors attending and selling illegally at said event. On the day of the event, there was an illegal vendor selling ice-cream alongside and thru-out the park. Our employee spent an hour trying to find someone to help him who flatly told him, "that's not high on my priority list right now". The illegal vendor continued to sell for FOUR more hours til someone from Towne square resolved the issue. By then, the event was nearing an end and the damage was done. We have attempted to contact Towne Square Media MULTIPLE times via email and phone. NO ONE has ever gotten back to us. They breached their contract and refused to provide even the most minimal of remediation. It has now been 3mos since the incident occured with not one call back or attempt at restitution. The amount of ice-cream we had to sell just to cover the enormous fee they charged took a lot of work in 100 plus degree weather w/o anyway to remediate our situation. We payed for the right to sell, we pre-warned them of the possibility of someone coming in and selling illegally and helpers were no where to be found, not to mention all the selling time we lost in the search for help and when they were finally made aware literally refused to help. We are insured and licensed for a reason. An illegal vendor who is not, not only puts legal businesses at a loss but possibly endangers the public with no way of tracking who they are or what they are selling.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of our fee for the event. An apology would be nice, but only for reasons of acknowledgement and the fact that they refused to address our multiple concerns.
