Review: I bought a boat and the ad described the boat having all the covers to cover when not in use. I drove four hours to get the boat and when I returned to my home I noticed the cover for the front wasn't there. I spoke to the dealer numerous times to which he replied twice stating that the cover wasn't there, it must have blown out of the boat or something else happened, but it was my fault. The cover that was given to me was still balled up under the rear seat. Nothing blew out! Then he just quit emailing me......will not reply. In addition to this, I asked them to ensure the trailer was serviced because I had a long drive. When hooked to my truck the lights didn't work. How could they have serviced the trailer? When I got home I checked the wheelbearings to see if they were greased.....bone dry. It is a wonder I made it home. Also, I asked them to switch the spare tire with one of the tires on the trailer because the rims were different. The spare tire was bald so the tires should have been switched on the rims. All they did was switch the rims putting the bald tire on the right rear of the trailer.... leaving me to drive from [redacted] to [redacted] with the inside of one of the tires on the trailer bald. I would be careful buying from this dealer. Service is sketchy.......and I know he is not dealing with me because I am 4 hours away.Desired Settlement: I want the dealer to pay $224.00, which is the cost of a cover I had to buy due to their negligence.

First I'd like to thank **. [redacted] for his purchase. He made the purchase of a very nice 14 year old pre-owned Four Winns.

The cover **. [redacted] is referring to as missing a 100% custom fit bow cover. It has no use for any other boat other than his own boat. All the canvas was with **. [redacted], we have no use for this. [redacted] helped **. [redacted] prepare for his travels home. **. [redacted] admittedly left the canvas openly in the boat unsecured for a four hour trip. According to [redacted] he asked **. [redacted] if he'd like the canvas secure in his vehicle and **. [redacted] denied this request before leaving our dealership. We cannot be held responsible for the customers lack of securing items within the boat in preparation for four hours of travel.

**. [redacted] makes an accusation that the trailer was never serviced yet he admits his request to transfer tire locations was completed on our end. When **. [redacted] was hooking up the boat to his vehicle with [redacted] there was an issue illuminating the lights. When we hooked up an alternative power source to the light plug on the trailer they worked 100% perfect leaving the customers tow vehicle or their wiring harnass to be the root of the problem, not the trailer itself. The trailer was serviced. If the tires or bearings were not serviced or an issue this trailer would not have made a four hour trip at interstate speeds. After being contacted numerous times about the bow cover there was never any mention of a trailer problem with bearings or tires until now.

We sell product to many customers at distances beyond four hours in distance and have no problems dealing with them after the sale. **. [redacted] was given everything with this boat and he admittedly didn't secure the canvas in the vehicle or a storage area. That is not our negligence or responsibility to do so.
