After extended delays, last week I was advised by the new sales manager of Toyota of Greenwich that they have arranged for the [redacted] auto at issue to be recorded in Toyota's records as properly belonging to us as owners.  This will presumably restore the warranty that attaches to new car...

sales.  I am trying to confirm this information, which will solve our complaint.  Thus, except for the delays by Toyota our problem seems to have been resolved.Again, thank you for your help.[redacted]

Review: My husband and I took our Toyota [redacted] 2007 to Toyota of [redacted] for a Warranty Enhancement Notification-[redacted], on 3/18/2015 and left it for the day. I received a call later that day from one of the employees saying that I needed to pay for oil change and other parts first, before they did anything about the warranty Notification. He claimed that the car was leaking oil based on that the motor was dirty. I try to explained him that the motor was dirty with oil because I spilt it on the motor once when I was adding oil and that I forgot to replace the cover, also that the driveway was never dirty from oil, but he was still insisting to repair it. I was working and in the middle of attending patients plus I was't familiar with the parts he was talking about and I declined the repair.

Later, I learned that the same person called my husband and neither he knew what they were talking about and he was in the middle of working hours to spend much time on the phone that he agreed to do the job.

We Picked the car after work and there was and invoice for $339 for labor and parts. They change, Oil and filter change, a gasket cylinder and a valve cover gaskets, as stated in the invoice. Parts cost were $68.98 and the rest was charged for labor, tax and misc.,there were no one to complaint because it was the end of the day. The person that handled our keys told us to run the car for 1100 or 1300 mileage for them to know if oil was leaking still. We had to pay for us to be able to drive home. We decided to wait for the car outcome before complained .

I had to called Toyota before that mileage runned because the car consummated the oil before that, and the answer was that they need me to wait for them to call me back when they got the parts. They never called me and it took me several calls to get the car in. The engine oil consumption was done on 8/26/15.

I realize that Toyota of [redacted] wasn't concern on the warranty enhancement notification for my car but bringing business to them when they called me again this time and wanted to repair something else, which I declined.Desired Settlement: I feel that we should have our money refunded to us for the repairs which were unnecessary. Toyota should listen to their customers
